The overall big picture is basically one big "trolley dilemma" as the story essentially boils down to how the 24th ward is going to change. The pacing and development worked out enough for it to be 12 episodes. One thing that I found interesting was the events or "mini-arcs" placed throughout the anime. The first one is the dilemma between Mari and the train with the best outcome and then it follows up with the tragedy of their teacher and Ran's best friend Kunai. Not everything is the same and it made me wonder if this anime just going to be about the dilemmas or something else? After Kunai's death, the anime started to shift from the individual events to the final decision of whether Asumi or the "Kanae system" truly gets implemented or gets destroyed completely so it boils down to more security for less privacy or more privacy with less security. As the story started to ramp up, we see Ran choosing to help 0th to destroy the system and Koki siding with his Dad to fully implement it. I enjoyed the ending with them freeing Asumi from her eternal pain but also keeping the idea of the system alive and by doing that they create a new future. I also enjoyed the closure of the RGB team from the death of their beloved friend, especially with Shuuta. Overall, the story had me intrigued and I truly wanted to find out what the fate of the 24th ward came to be at the same time it started to be predictable towards the end but it was still a happy ending. 7/10

The anime was definitely unique and had many creative details so I will just list the ones that stood out the most. First, the name RGB being used as what the friend group is called is really cool as each of the colors shows them as "main and "solid" characters. The idea of a 24th hero, that protects the 24th ward 24/7 was a great addition. The usage of graffiti as a means to show many emotions and meanings. The sunrise free bread given to the kids was pretty creative in my eyes. The animation of when they get their powers and how their pupils change shape was cool. The technology shown with how it accounts for crimes was a very interesting idea. The whole idea of the "trolley dilemma" was peak creativity in some ways for me. Also something I wanted to note but every RGB had a girl or woman figure help them out in some way. Overall, the creativity was superb and definitely a strong point. 8.5/10

Cloverworks did really well with the overall design of the characters. They are well detailed and even the side characters aren't generic. The music fit the overall theme and fits well with the emotion portrayed. The opening was also a banger. The fight scenes or intense moments were clean and had emphasis. The overall animation was great. The voices were honestly perfect for each of the RGB characters. The graffiti and overall color palette gave the anime it's own unique marking. There were a few times though that I have seen where a character's face is a bit messed up but Cloverworks was working on three different animes during the season. Overall, the vibrant colors and general character design truly made the anime rememberable and different. 8.5/10

I would recommend this anime to a new watcher or a casual. The beginning and cover art had me interested with a well-placed happy ending. The power struggle between the two sides of different ideals was really thought-provoking. The fact that it was an anime original and done decently well deserves praise. But of course, to end this review, I ask you this. Are you going to watch Tokyo 24th Ward or eat Mari's Special? JUST KIDDING WATCH IT!!!!!!!
