You see, I... (can see them)
"Mieruko-chan" is a horror comedy that follows a high school girl named 'Miko-chan' who one day suddenly started to see the creepy ghosts that are roaming, unseen among them. She decided to start ignore them, in order to keep her sanity intact and to not involve her friends & family, while the ghosts will constantly try to make her notice them. BTW, if you haven't figured it out, the title is a wordplay. "Mieru" means 'can see' in Japanese, so the title can also be written as
"Miko can see".

Yup, I can still see them
Each episode is divided into 3 or 4 segments and each segment follows the same formulaic approach.
1. Miko finds a Ghost;
2. Ghost asks if Miko sees them;
3. Miko ignores with all her might while dreadfully waiting for the ghost to pass away.
(And sometimes, other characters gets involved to make things more problematic for her).Rinse & Repeat, except in the second half it gets more mysterious & suspenseful, while in the first half it's more fanservice-y & slice of life-ish with some emotional moments in every episode, heartwarming or sad.
Miko is a pretty silent girl, even before she gained her ability. She stays calm, she has a poker face and... she is kind, ig? The Anime's driving factor is, for the most part, it's plot, "Cute girl's poker face infront of a scary ghost" and all the humor & SoL moments surrounding it, so there's really not much room for character exploration but she did developed a bit by the end. Her friend, "Hana" is a voluptuous gluttony who acts like your typical, overly expressive girl. "Yulia", a short girl from the other class who also has the ability to see ghosts, way before but not as powerful as Miko, so she always activates her competitive mode around Miko. And there are some other important characters too, who doesn't long more than one or two episodes but leave a pretty good impact. While the ghosts definitely are ugly & creepy, you'll later start to realize that these are also once were living things and start to feel a little sympathetic towards them. This gets explored with some short heartwarming stories that are unexpected but is quite a welcoming wholesomeness in a creepy Anime.

YAMETE! YAMETE! MO YAMETE!For all you horny f^&%ers out there;
(Listen to the OP. You'll understand the title)
Sound quality is pretty amazing. You have all the eerie tracks, glitchy noises and broken voices that sets up the tone really well. There are some surprisingly good soundtracks, especially in the last couple of episodes, which is also where the series gets more interesting. The OP & ED have some of the fun starts I've heard in a while in Anime songs. When the sound kicks in, you know it's going to get creepy. Speaking of creepy;
#AAAAAAAaaa.....
######(Ah! Nice ass!)
There are 2 different designs/visuals. The shiny, cute but horny designs of human characters (mostly girls) and the creepy, ugly designs for the ghosts. The initial episodes largely depend on the horny visuals (thighs, butts, boobs.. You name them) and it's... really heavy fanservice (emphasis on 'heavy') but gets significantly low later down the road while the creepy visuals start to get more focus. It really nails the atmosphere tho, especially when it's dark. The animation 'shines' at some emotional moments, literally.
#You can ignore but...
Miko stays ignorant for the most of the Anime and provides enough gags and laughs for us to be entertained but in the last couple of episodes, she starts to question if it's really right thing to stay ignorant. In the final episode, she stopped pretending ignorance and started to acknowledge the ghost that's causing trouble. She acknowledged that by staying ignorant, she's only fooling everyone around her and living under a fake comfort zone. Ignorance might be a bliss but
...for how long can you stay ignorant? So, she finally started to break out of that comfort zone and....
