It all started with the fact that I put off watching this series, and after that I regretted it. I watched every episode with rapture and wanted more and more. This story tells about Hori and Miyamura, who are the key characters in this story, although the author does not forget about the secondary characters.

The name incidentally also comes from HORI-MIYAamura. So let's start our review!
The manga Hori-san to Miyamura-kun was written back in 2007-2011 by the author Hiroki Adachi under the pseudonym Hero, after which the series received a printed publication from SquareEnix (I was surprised that the game studio was doing this as well).
Since 2012, a small OVA of 7 episodes "Hori and Miyamura" (Hori-san to Miyamura-kun) of 22 minutes each has been filmed.
To be honest, I like the drawing more in the new adaptation. As for OVA, it’s that they most likely wanted to make a serial then, but something didn’t work out for the developers and was abandoned. To think so, it is for the best, the drawing of the old one is peculiar and not as colorful as our new part.
And now, in 2021, this wonderful series comes out.
The plot is immediately rushed by the fact that it is bright and laid-back. From the first minutes, I felt how the characters were close to me, as if I already knew them. The only thing I couldn't remember was Japanese names, except for Hori and Miyamura (sorry, I'm bad at remembering names)

After some time, I began to delve into the plot and it turns out that it is deeper than it really is. Anime tells love stories of several personalities and each story is individual, of course, it catches me.
The next is the problems in student life, which are known to many and maybe even faced with it. The series reveals them and shows how the characters overcome them gradually.
I watched with voice acting Anilibria so I can't comment on the japanese acting.
I will say right away that I read the manga only up to a certain chapter. The manga itself is completed, which means the series will be over.
The anime itself ends somewhere in the middle of reading, which foreshadows season 2, but even so, there are missing chapters in season 1, which will certainly keep you interested in reading even after watching the series.

It should be noted that the anime rendering here is extremely pleasing to the eye with high quality. Also, the competent use of effects that do not annoy the eyes with their abundance, making you laugh or think at a particular moment in the story.
Alleluia! The release of season 1 turned out to be a huge success, which even the authors did not expect. Definitely, the continuation should be and a record was announced that development is already underway. Most likely, the release date will be somewhere in 2022, maybe in winter. There is no official date, there is only news about the development that has already begun.

This anime grabbed me and won't let go. The well-developed stories of each character, their romantic connection, and of course the comedy made me watch this masterpiece to the end, and I'm looking forward to season 2.
If in doubt, I answer - this is one of the best romantic stories that will make even non-romantics and melancholic people smile :).
