The Rascal does not dream series is definitely one of the top anime of 2018, no doubt. It explores the mystery of characters experiencing their "puberty syndromes", which is a witty representation of real life issues adolescents are facing nowadays. The series is often compared to the Monogatari Series, anime that was released much earlier before this. Some comparison puts both the anime in the light direction, but often yhis series is put in a bad side. Most probably the other bad reviews was due to the case that it is just a copy of the monogatari series. Seriously, why dont people just review the show as it is...
STORY: Compelling
The story is incredibly well crafted and paced correctly. Every arc fits the screentime they were given without leaving much information from the source material. The use of scientific shenanigans and whatnot was surprising that it made me watch videos about them online. Shrodinger's Cat, Laplace Demon, Quantum Entanglement, Quantum teleportation, etc. The show made me watch more videos about these topics and it was actually pretty dope. How the problem from each arc was solved were also well crafted.
Characters:. Interesting
Each character of this series are interesting in their own way, with sakuta carrying the show with his calm and edgy but sometimes funny demeanor. The girls were also easily high tier waifus on their own (although Mai is my fav), with each of their personality and quirks making them lovable. The design was not that flashy, but were definitely great. CGI crowd characters were also good as they don't take you out of the immersion while watching. (Thank you Cloverworks)
Extras: Fancy
The experience is definitely great. Some people may not like it, but it's definitely worth a try. Its a simple problem-solution anime that does not introduce the watcher to some overly-complex mechanics. You dont need to watch many anime to get the context of every humor. It is a bunny girl anime having a bunny girl problem solved by a bunny girl loving guy.
Probably the only anime in my list that would receive 100/100
