Kokoro Connect is kind of a mess. While I like to praise this Anime for giving playful tomboy-ish character like Inaba, a kind of an intriguing plot & the cute art style; it's own mediocrity & way too many plot convienences make it a pretty bad Anime, when it could've been a great romcom but saved itself for having a best girl.

You are Should've been amusing
The anime is about 5 high schoolers who are stuck in some bizzare phenomenons that causes them to body swap at random. And after a half way through the series, this phenomenon changes into something else, and after a few episodes it changes yet again.
This Anime doesn't use any of these bizzare phenomenons it introduces to a full effect. It gives some kind of "development" to the cast, but the worst treatment goes to Iori (the girl with a mole), who'll become unnecessarily complex with each phenomenon only to make her more annoying & to create more melodrama. This goes really worse in the 4 episode OVA. The characters really show some promise for an interesting turn of events but it doesn't keep any of those interesting, for how bland it becomes with all its melodrama. I agree that there a few times it rises some interesting questions, but all that doesn't really pay off and making the characters say some high level dialogue only makes them pretentious. The solutions to these problems are pretty generic & are kinda melodramatic, except for one particular kick. That kick is definitely unexpected, funny as hell yet seems like a reasonable response given the problem.
But what I find to be kinda amusing is not really this cast but rather the one that gets them into these situations; Heartseed. What I like about this character who only exist to drive the plot, is that how self-aware it is. That's probably not the intention of the creator but every dialogue from this character gives the vibes of some kind of editor behind the scenes. You can more or less tell that through his dialogue.
> I'm doing this because you're too amusing.
It'll stop if I'm amused enough.Meaning, if the story gets uninteresting, it stops the phenomenon, only to introduce another one.
I liked this self-awareness of this character. It gives the series an excuse to keep itself entertaining, and it kinda works. Despite the annoying personalities most of these characters carries & how much of a terrible job it does to keep up & build these characters, it still is pretty entertaining to watch, and it's mainly thanks to one character.

Best Girl
If there's one reason for me to recommend this Anime, it's because she exists!
It might look like I'm being a simp (which I don't completely deny) but seriously, Inaba is only reason this Anime saved it's sorry ass. Her being violent, playful, a bit bashful at times, being the only strong lead out of the bunch is what keeps things entertaining despite failing miserably in all other departments. And it's not often you have an Anime girl saying something like this.
° ͜ʖ ͡°
God bless Miyuki Sawashiro's voice acting. She really made Inaba a fun character.
As far as the art style & other production goes, it's alright. I don't see anything great but it definitely keeps itself cute.
#Conclusion
By all means, I recommend this only for Inaba's antiques, and to get little laughs from some horny situations. Out of that, it's pretty terrible at what it's trying to do.
It seems like there are a lot of subtitles you can take out of context and have a crack.
Note :- Ignore the controversy surrounding this Anime.
