The Demon Girl Next Door

#1.0-Summary ------------- Machikado Mazoku tells the story of Yuuko, a young girl who discovers she has the powers of a succubus (demon), also discovers that there are magical girls who must protect the world from demons. The work tells the progression of Yuuko to become a great demon and thus be able to free the family from a curse imposed by the Clan of Light on their ancestors. The curse of misery where your family is condemned to live in poverty. #2.0-Storyline ------------------------------- The anime begins with Yuuko dreaming of an entity that identifies itself as Lilith. She tells Yuuko that she is a descendant of a clan that possesses demonic powers, and that she will guide Yuuko to become a powerful demon so that she can restore her clan's power. Yuuko's first mission is to find the magical girl in charge of the city and defeat her. Yuuko wakes up and realizes that she has gained both a tail and two horns, her mother tells her that in the past her family was hunted and cursed by a magical girl who belongs to the clan of light, whose mission is to hunt demons. Yuuko decides to get out of the house for a bit, when she almost gets hit by a truck and is conveniently saved by the town's magical girl named Momo. Yuuko goes to school and discovers that she studies at the same school as Momo, she decides to try to fight Momo, but, realizing that she is much weaker, the two become friends and Yuuko asks Momo to train her so they can duel. The entire anime is basically about their daily lives, with a bit of comic Slice of Life and action. #2.1-Storyline Conclusion --------------------------------------------- I particularly missed a focus on the work, although towards the end we have some revelations about Yuuko and Momo past, I feel that it lacks something central to develop, I thought the work's objective was vague. It's not bad, but definitely for those who expect something more centered and developed, it will end up disappointing. #3.0-Characters ------------------------------------ #3.1-Yuuko Yuuko is clumsy and weak, which makes the script funny. #3.2-Momo Momo is strong and focused, very closed off, hardly makes friends. #3.3-Lilith Lilith is Yuuko's ancestor, her main role in the script is to make Yuuko do wrong things, encouraging her to make crazy plans against the magical girl (Momo). #3.4-Characters Conclusion ------------------------------ The characters work well Yuuko being the complete opposite of Momo create a fun duo, Lilith in turn encouraging the uptight Yuuko to do wrong things also makes the work very funny. I have nothing to complain about at this point. #4.0-Animation --------------------------------- The animation is ok. As for a Slice of Live, I won't be strict with the animation, it remains consistent throughout the entire work. #5.0-Dubbing Cast ------------------------------ The voice acting is very good, the voices match. I must remember the voice actress Konomi Kohara (Chika in kaguya-sama) who makes Yuuko much funnier. #6.0-Main Genres ----------------------------- Slice of Life, Comedy. #7.0-Conclusion ------------------------------ The work is very interesting, it is relaxing to watch, the characters are fun and charismatic, but there is a lack of a main focus in the work, something more, and that makes you wonder in the end was that it? what can i expect for the next season? everything is very vague, particularly this is the only negative point of this work, and that's what made me decide to give it 8 (80).
