The Story ════ ⋆★⋆ ════ A film-maker decides to film a documentary at a high school. He selects the top-scoring student, Yeon-Su Guk, a cold, righteous, and serious girl, and the lowest-scoring student, Ung Choe, a lazy, airheaded, and careless boy. Now both have to spend a month together to film the documentary and see the daily lives of Korean students living such different lives. The story of Our Beloved Summer is pretty good. Just by the summary, you can predict exactly how the story will go, but even with that in mind, I was able to thoroughly enjoy the story because of the developments that they have made through the series. The pacing is well done and the story is very comforting, as you would expect from a romance. I applaud the author for taking an overused set of tropes (Click here for meaning) and turning it into something unique and worth reading.════ ⋆★⋆ ════
The Art Style ════ ⋆★⋆ ════ The art style on Our Beloved Summer is pretty good. From the manhwas that I've read so far, this one probably has the most comforting art so far. The color palette is very well picked with a lot of pastel colors, the scene composition is good, and the backgrounds are really good.
One aspect that really hit home for me was the character design. I really enjoyed how both main characters look and how their appearance, gestures, facial expressions, and gestures fit with them.

The Characters ════ ⋆★⋆ ════ There are a small number of characters in this work: our main characters, their family, the director, and a couple of colleagues. They're nicely done. There's a nice balance between the main characters and the supporting ones. There's a nice background development for important ones, which is difficult to achieve in such a short work.As I always like to talk about the main characters, both Yeon-Su Guk and Ung Choe are great. They're really opposites with totally different lives, and the interaction between them is pretty well done. It's amazing to watch how one character interacts with the other throughout the series.
