Part review and part just personal thoughts on the core theme of the webtoon/manga. Feel free to read it if you want too. I mean the review lol... as for the webtoon/manga... yes I say it's worth reading!
The beautiful journey of this life we live is the people we meet along the way. They shape and build us up and there can be people who both hurt and/or heal us. Life is a crazy journey, that's fill with so many encounter, many greetings and many partings.
This was a beautiful webtoon, easily read in one go if you have time. I was listening to it with "Violet Evergarden" OST playing in the background. It wasn't on purpose lol... just turns out it was a perfect match since Violet is all about letters and such. And with the same similar theme of connecting with others. And if you haven't yet, go watch Violet Evergarden.
Also if you like this manga, I would recommend "Summer Ghost" as well.
The beauty of meeting people and connecting with others... such a wonderful experience. This is a theme shared with other works as well, especially with "I want to eat your pancreas."
I already talked about this topic a lot before so I won't repeat it a lot. It's really a beautiful short read that I enjoyed. The characters were all great and chapter 8

The way it started reminded me a lot of "Hinata" from "March Comes in like a Lion" (Season 2). If you've watched it,, you'll know what I mean. Being someone who's willing to stand against the crowd.
Sometimes doing the right thing doesn't always feel that way. It will be painful and hurt more then doing the wrong thing. It takes someone really strong to really stand up for what is right in the face of fear and danger and standing up for those who can't. It's not about being known on social media by how great of a person you are or by others... it's by doing what is right.
“The true test of a man's character is what he does when no one is watching.”

So if you want a short story that feels complete, I would recommend it. It's not a lot to read and it is really good. A lot of those others I recommended cover a lot of the same core theme and worth checking out as well.
So to break down my score...
Characters: I really like them, I felt they felt real. Like people you can relate too and understand their hurt and struggle. Maybe they are someone you want to strive to become? That maybe you find yourself too scare at times to stand up because you're afraid to be isolated from the crowd. They were well written with simple dialogue. The letters though were beautiful. The way they were written were so GOOD!
Art/Visual: I guess it's good? Not the greatest I've seen, but it's fine. It works for what it wanted to convey.
Story: Covers what it needed too in thee short spam it was given. It gives you a satisfying conclusion and with all the twist and stuff, I felt it worked out. It didn't feel out of place and everything kind of lead to another that if you pay attention you can probably connect it. So I praise it for it's storytelling that it's well done.
Enjoyment: Personally I loved it, I think it cover a core theme of everything I love in anime and life. Connecting and building relationship with others. I can talk about this so much but many of my reviews already covered this so I'll sound like a broken record repeating myself lol....
Something I just live by (also what I feel like this webtoon was trying to convey part of this message as well)... people will come and go. I've seen so many friends come and leave, but I appreciate the moments we spent together, some shorter and some are more long lasting. Each is precious, the moments we had, the time we spent, I treasure them. They become a part of my memories, a part of who I am. I know I might have missed out on something or not learn something if they weren't there.
Yes this is true also for the pain they might've caused me. Maybe the mistakes we made, that I learn not to do that with the next person who I met. There is the good with the bad, we will make mistakes and some we will learn from and better and some we will repeat.
Through it all, I won't trade away these memories or moments I had with them. No matter what path we each walk now, I still wonder sometimes... do they sometimes have a moment to spare and just think about me? About us? About the past?
These moments are ever fleeting, life is too short to live in hatred and regrets. We don't know if we'll have tomorrow. So with the short time we're given on this earth, love those who are there before you. Because you don't know when they will be gone.
And you know... losing people is just a part of this journey. Because we all will eventually have to walk different roads and path and maybe one day we will cross again? Who knows, but I do know one thing, I'm glad the road I walked lead me here to meet some amazing people on AL otherwise I won't have met if I might've walked a different path. People come and go, doesn't mean we replaced them... we just add onto the memories.
Anyways, thanks for reading my random thoughts as always! My score is off course base on personal enjoyment and hey if you don't like it... that's fine, it's whatever. If you did enjoyed it, awesome!
