4 months ago I was desperately looking for something good to watch. I had gotten kinda bored of anime ngl. I couldn't find something that was worth watching, but then I finally decided to watch the anime almost everyone who's watched it, calls perfect and that was steins;gate...
Before starting this absolute masterpiece of an anime, I had many people say to me "ohhhh it only starts getting good at episode 12" and shit like that, but once I started it, I knew I was gonna disagree once I finished it cuz from the very beginning, this was an absolute banger of an anime...

Characters

Just like everything else in this anime, the cast is absolutely beautifully written.
I hadn't come across a cast this good since watching the monogatari series like 3 years ago. The chemistry between the lab members is out of this world and each and every character have very unique personalities that makes them stand out.

As a main character, Hououin Kyouma, el psy congroo, or his real name, Okabe Rintaro is the fucking goat. He's just such a great MC. At first you think he's just this weird guy with 8th grader syndrome, but the more you watch, you'll soon realize, he's the greatest main character of all time (opinion moment).

The story is about a time travel obsessed maniac, who alongside his fellow lab members, are trying to create a time machine, but along the way, certain events happen that will lead to a cycle of lots and lots of chaos...

Soundtrack & OSTs

I'm no expert in music, but the way the music was placed helped captive the moment and it created all sorts of emotions in the hard hitting scenes. I think they used the OSTs in a very good way and got the most out of them.

I also appreciate they used Skyclad Observer in one of the episodes cuz I really like that song.

*** #Personal Takes/Final Thoughts# *** I personally think the story is beautifully written and it all wraps up in such a perfect way that it'll leave you with 0 disappointment. It's an out of this world story that is very unique and rich of curve balls and heart breaking moments. No story will ever come close being this good on my opinion. *** This was the greatest experience I've had whilst watching anime. Out of the hundreds I've watched, this was the one that stood out from the rest. Never have I seen such perfect story telling and character development. This is without a doubt a 10/10 and there's no arguing that.

I don't really know how to fully express the way I feel about Steins;Gate, all I can really say is that this is truly, peak fiction.
