This anime is actually with little innate shortcomings. Since its predecessor, "Go Princess Precure" still did not progress commercially despite the large resources invested in its production. This directly affected the production funding for this anime, and meant that it was a transformational work that would overturn established conventions in many places. As a result, this anime has toned down the battle drama and the sense of mission, making it a certain heterochromia relative to the existence of Precures in the past. Almost a whole new production team with a new set of people, the production level of this work has seen a noticeable decline compared to its predecessor.
The key words of this anime are miracle, magic, happiness, and the theme is "holding hands". The storyline is similar to the first generation, divided into two parts. The story takes place in the magic world and no magic world, mainly about the daily life of the Precures.
But is this a good anime or not?
I believe that everyone who has seen it has the answer in their hearts.
Undoubtedly, yes - this is definitely a good anime, and in terms of children animation, can be said to be a rare masterpiece in recent years.
The story is bland? No problem, because this is actually an animation that wins with details and emotions. A large number of seemingly repetitive dramas, are constantly enhancing the overall sense of the four, Mirai, Liko, Ha-chan and Mofurun, especially Ha-chan, from the early simple baby instincts, to the late strong emotions of gratefulness and affection, all accumulated in the details of the ordinary little by little.
As the story says, the magics and miracles, breeding happiness - there is no doubt that miracles and magics, at the moment of meeting already exist, the whole story has been telling the longest "breeding" process. The relationship between three people and one bear goes beyond friendship and can already be said to be a family bonding. The heartsweet story always brings a smile to viewer's face, and unconsciously regarded it as part of the daily life. And this accumulation of emotions for 47 episodes, with the climax of 48 and 49 episodes growing, instantly burst out, bringing people more than imagined moving. It can be said that the ending of episode 49 is the true sense of bred happiness. This is not only a story of Precure, but also an "common family love story".
Overall, "Maho Girls Precure" is the most tearful, most touching one of all generations, and it is worth recommending. In addition, congratulations on the second season!25.5 out of 27 users liked this review
