If there was an anime that was low budget but it's good, It'll go to Kemono Friends. The story about a girl who meets up with a serval cat friend from the Japari Park. With many animal girls helping them throughout the journey.
Like I said, it's a journey with many animal friends. Each episode has new animal friends that Serval and Kaban must help out together, whenever it's having to rebuild the Japari Bus or helping the PPP for their next concert. There's also a side story about the adventures of Racoon and Fennec trying to catch up to our heroes too.
Every episode has variety in it depending on where the protagonists go, from the desert to the snowy mountains, there is a lot of helping to do before the next destination.
CHARACTERS: 10/10
There is a lot of friends to meet in the Japari Park, whenever it's the lazy but also serious Lion, or the playful Small-Clawed Otter. Each friend has there own personality, even the characters who show up for a second or two have them.
In the final episode they make a comeback to help the protagonists defeat the Cerulean in the climax, using their wild sides to battle the big beast in the Japari Park. Saving Serval in the process and restoring the Japari Park to normal.
VISUALS: 7/10
Considering that Kemono Friends might be a good anime, it's art style is kind of low budget, using CGI characters on backgrounds that look 2D. But with it's low budgetness, the visuals still look good for a show that's all-CGI.
SOUND: 9/10
The show's soundtrack gives off jungle-like vibes that fits the show well, even it's opening theme seems to be a banger, being upbeat and setting you to welcome you to the Japari Park. But the ending theme seems to be kind of okay, but not as good as Welcome to The Japari Park.
Even we get a musical number in episode 8: "PPP Live", where the PPP perform "Sky Dreamer". A song about their dreams as penguin friends, stating that one day they'll rule the skies.

ENJOYMENT:
When I started this anime, I thought it was kind of a decent anime, but after a few episodes, It went up from decent to good. Seeing Serval and Kaban on their journey, meeting friends and helping them along the way. I also liked how the series ends, with Serval in search of finding new humans to meet.
Still, with it's flaws, Kemono Friends still manages to be a show that's actually fun and might teach you some facts about the animals in the show in it's eyecatchers. Meaning that with all of it's low-budgetness, it really tells a story about the Japari Park and it's animal friends.
