Tonikaku kawaii was one of the best romance anime that I ever seen in my life, it's not complex or innovator or something like this, but make you wanna see more and more episodes, because it's very cute and beautiful, of course, I will tell why I think this is so good.
First thing, if you plain to watch this show have in mind that is a slice of life off a couple that got married in the first episode, have a mistery about reincarnation and "gods" but I don't tell much about it because probably they will explore it just in the second season or a third. Returning to THIS season, I need to say that this show makes my heart warm, it's a story about a couple living a married life, common problems about the day and theses things, so how to do this be interesting? The answer is simple, let me show you.
Of course, if it is a slice of life, need a good development around the couple right? Yes, but to do this in the correctly way, and don't do this to be tiring sometimes it's not much simple, but here, we have twelve episodes with development, a good story and conclusion, even if it didn't have a second season, the story would have stayed complete basically, it's a great couple that make good friends in the pass of the days, that help each other, that kissed, that MARRIED, it´s a complete romance in every single aspect, don't need more than this to do a good story. The relation between Nasa and Tsukasa it's beautiful, they trust each other, they respect each other and every episode the relationship between then grows more and more. But it's not just this.
For other side we have good conflicts, never too big because it's not the purpose of the show, but conflicts that grows the relation between the characters and put an obstacle to make the show swing a little and get away from the routine. For example, the girl that like the protagonist, Arya Arisugawa
But of course, the show never lost his own purpose, be cute, lightness and fun to watch, and works, the problem appears, it's fun to see, the couple resolve it like a real couple, together, and the friends do the same, together, they all form a beautiful and fun family.
the anime doesn't wind up to show kisses, or romance between the couple, at a certain point it quickly becomes normal and routine, like the true life of a marriage, it's very cool to see it, and I love it.
