Tsurune: The Linking Shot premiered as an animated series in 2023 during the winter season. Tsurune: Kazemai High School Kyudo Club is its first season.
This anime belongs to the sport genre, specifically archery, and features male-dominated characters with some female characters serving as support and having their own arcs.
The storyline can be summed up as follows: the Kazemai High School Kyudo Club is determined to repeat their national competition victory, with Minato Narumiya and his teammates motivated to win.
It has many great themes and a fantastic show-not-tell literary technique to emphasize the development of characters.
The main characters have a lot of grit and ups and downs in their situations, but the best part of this coming-of-age storyline is that they have good companionship and heartfelt honesty.
This inner growth and maturity evolves, or should I say, ignites, their passion for archery and elevates them to equal standing.

Tsurune has done a terrific job with it, leaving their viewers to decide where the story will take them. There is great music to entice you in, but I would advise you to avoid it for the time being ahem spoilers.
They did excellently on the characters' flaws and allowed vulnerability to shine through, which is a fundamental aspect of humans.

Their animation astounds me with its vibrant colors and distinct style, allowing the main character Minato to stand out as the team's focal point.

There are some improvements that could help this anime even more, including adding more layers to highlight the club's personality.
There are many shortcomings with cohesiveness in general, which threw me off sometimes, which is unexpected, but new characters did add a lot, but their stories weren't deep enough.

The mentors and coaches are a valuable asset to this sport. They provide sound advice to their students based on their life experiences.
It strengthens their previous relationships with kyudo (archery), which is a lifelong journey to find your form, which is one of the major concepts they explore in this story.
As a result, the characters become more relatable and their struggles become more meaningful, making the show more engaging and emotionally resonant. This also allows viewers to reflect on their own personal growth and experiences.
The increased tension with each build-up episode teaches the characters about themselves.

I find it interesting and beholding to witness their growth in different directions, and with their newly acquired perspectives,
They would find themselves speaking to others with whom they had no relations and learn to let go of their own hatred and sadness to overcome their barriers. It is important to note that cohesiveness is not always easy to achieve.
While new characters can add value, it is crucial to develop their stories further to enhance the overall coherence of the plot. However, with pondering, you can fill the loopholes in yourselves.
There's a lot I'd like to say, but seeing it for yourself is the best way to understand. Overall, I would rate the show a 9/10, and I can see how much effort they put into this season I'm thrilled to have seen it, and I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. :)) Thanks for reading and for your time!!
