In "Who Made Me a Princess," just like in many isekai titles, the female lead has the "advantage" of being reborn in a world where she already knows the "story of her life." In this case, she becomes Princess Athanasia from the book "Lovely Princess". Despite her not beeing exactly the villain of the story, she is definitely not the "lovely princess" that the title refers to. In fact, she is the renegade daughter of the great emperor Claude who ends up being executed by her own father after he believes that she has tried to harm her step-sister, Princess Jennette. With that in mind, Athanasia (or "Athy") must do everything she can to stay as far away as possible from her terrifying father and find a way to survive.
Because she knows the story of "Lovely Princess", Athy prepares a plan to avoid meeting her father on her ninth birthday (as described in the book) and strives from a young age to collect "shiny things" (gold and jewels LOL) so that she can use the money in the future. However, an unexpected encounter occurs when she is only five years old and suddenly our protagonist finds herself face to face with her executioner: her own father, Claude. Not knowing what to do, she must find a way to win the cold emperor's heart in order to spare her own life!
I must say that the initial chapters of this manhwa were absolutely captivating. The evolution of the relationship between father and daughter is incredibly thrilling, and I find myself completely absorbed, eagerly anticipating Claude's reactions to his daughter's actions as she strives to win him over.
The presence of Lucas, the Magician, brings new elements and perspectives to the story, introducing new plots and possibilities to be explored. To be honest, I was a bit confused with the addition of the magic theme in this title, but after reading a few more chapters the strangeness faded away.
For those (like me) who are crazy about romance, I must warn you in advance: the focus of this manhwa is family love, especially the relationship between father and daughter. Athy's romantic interests will only be explored in depth in the final part of the story.

And of course, I can't fail to mention: the art is wonderful. The characters' costumes are incredible and the author is heavily influenced by pop culture, which brings us very funny panels and references to works like "Alice in Wonderland" and "Swan Lake".
In conclusion, I recently completed this title and felt compelled to write a review to highly recommend it to fellow readers. I won't give away any spoilers, but get ready to be fully immersed in a story that will make you smile, sigh with passion and even bring tears to your eyes. "Who Made Me a Princess" is an amazing title, and I can't wait to dive into the upcoming side stories from the author.
