The main characters are two girls who work for a secret government organization that keeps civilians safe by engaging in various terrorist activities and contract killings. No one knows about this organization except the government itself, and they walk around dressed in school uniforms, so they blend into the background.
Stylistically, it doesn't have a distinctive style and is drawn rather standard, but neatly and cleanly. Lots of colors are used, and we are unlikely to see gray. It has no gore elements, the only thing that appears is blood as a dark red color.
Philosophically, this anime deals with who is really evil, if the theoretically good people fight themselves, and the "bad" people strive for a balance of good and evil, then they somehow contribute to justice. There is also a theme regarding how some people, in pursuit of their goals, are able to play the role of a nice person who wants to help, and when the mask is removed, turn out to be selfish people who take advantage of others.
We can also interpret this work as a warning that, despite caring about the trust of confidentiality, sooner or later the truth will come out, and the consequences that follow can overtake us. Another of the philosophical themes is deciding on one's own morals and actions, in this work the supporting character makes a decision a couple of times that is not in accordance with the directives of her superiors, but is necessary to save the life of the main character, and to achieve the goal of those superiors. The last and final plot that takes place treats of keeping someone artificially alive, as the person in question may not always want it, or it may even take away from their personalities in some way, as they lose themselves in trying to stay alive, instead of enjoying life and being themselves.
The music, although it only plays in the intro, outro and final scene, fits the overall picture and does not spoil the reception. Gun sounds are appropriate, with ricochets having their own sounds as well.
The characters are ambiguous, changing their views in the course of the work, although those at first glance obviously antagonistic, are able to explain their actions and in a way explain what they do.
The plot is also interesting, the threads that we think will end in a given way are able to turn 180 degrees by various actions performed during their course, more than once I thought it was already the end, and yet there was a twist. The tension is built correctly, there are slow as well as fast elements, and the climactic element does not disappoint.
The Pacing is pretty good, with a good balance of action and time in between, you're always interested in what's happening and there's no boredome.
Worldbuilding is well explained and we get a good reasoning for why antagonists are being evil, as well as what our protagonists are doing and why they're doing it. There's nothing unclear about the story and you're not going to find yourself confused.
Emotional impact is there, with moments that bring you on the edge, as well as keeping you excited for what's going to happen next, without it being straight forward.
