The "grand" return of the Lady Vengeance
Starts with the female protagonist being this strong fighter surviving an arena fight against big tigers but then you never really see her do much with that. You see her climbing/walking on roofs to spy + she "takes down" two guys but that's it. I wish they did more. The last chapters felt very random, introducing new characters that felt like they were important but then the story ends and you know nothing. While the characters looked good visually, this wasn't a satisfying read. Oh, the art style randomly changes (the first style is more "modern") too. The reincarnation/

two different people in one body (Charlotte/Loren) made the story confusing in my opinion, but that's mainly because there just wasn't enough development. The romance part between Loren and the prince was frustrating, could've been much better. Stupid decisions made on both sides and the pacing felt weird. Loren gets easily influenced

by Scarlet and thinks the prince was using her (understandable as he became cold after they returned from the mega mushroom forest) so she "leaves" but then you see her man/the prince running to get to her (because he realized he's actually in love). Those panels did make me sad a little, but also annoyed at how easily Loren trusted people around her despite the story emphasizing revenge/"you can't trust anyone" and the prince not doing much to reassure her beforehand/

The prince not suspecting Scarlet at all after her suddenly becoming this outspoken, paranoid character out of nowhere when he's supposed to be this smart figure is stupid. I'm also tired of every female character in a story being/turning evil out of jealousy. These male characters ain't all that and it minimizes the female characters' roles. Turning

Scarlet into this jealous woman felt like poor writing in my opinion. The author could've at least hinted at this happening (or maybe I missed it?) instead of rushing everything into the last chapters.
It's supposed to end on chapter 84,

but the last panel makes it seem like the ending has been cut off. I don't know if the author was planning on continuing/making a second part of the story, but if this ending was intentional then it was bad. I saw on MangaToon that this manhua was listed as ongoing while on anilist and other places like bilibilicomics it's marked as complete. Well, hopefully it's ongoing and maybe some day we'll get answers. In the end, the title made me interested in reading this but was left disappointed. I think this story would've been more interesting if it was Charlotte and not Loren.
