I never felt this scammed watching an anime before, they really baited us with the first 2 episodes with a fantastic over the top animation which would blow your mind! the fights in those 2 episodes were really fantastic but everything after that was horrendous the anime really went downhill aside from that one episode with the flashbacks. heck even the production went downhill too and that was the only selling point about this anime ~!!~ but seriously who would have thought that this serious anime about ninjas would turn into a mecha mess?? it felt like i was watching a different anime like i was baited so bad to watch this and sadly that's what happened and as i continued watching the story got more worse and uninteresting like they finally lost me i didn't care about anything going. the characters are so boring i only enjoyed the cute interactions between Emma and Mike but of course they had to kill her to make the show more boring, the hero's friend rival turning into villain cliche this time was very poorly made it's scary how bad and uninteresting this rival character is. and of course the main villain is just your classic "I want to rule the world" there's really nothing to him beside that. This had the potential to be so much better but i really don't know what happened maybe because my expectations was very high after the first 2 episodes? i don't know but what i'm sure of is that turning a show about Ninja into a mecha anime really killed the entire premise and made it into just a typical mecha anime just with ninja theme. it's clear that they really lacked in the writing department maybe because it's the studio's first anime and they lack any experience i can give them that but they really need to up their game in the future, i really enjoyed the direction in some scenes it was very cinematic at times it's really sad that it failed at the end. Oh yeah i forgot to talk about the main character because guess what? he's so forgettable his personality is nonexistent and there's nothing actually worth mentioning about him other than his generic motivation for revenge for his family that i couldn't care less about because it's poorly written even his design is so irritating and bad i couldn't take him seriously at all with his edgy voice too. There's nothing worth mentioning about the side characters too other than that Elon Musk parody guy he was actually funny. Mike could've been the best character in the show if they actually had done anything interesting with him but he was just existing as a comic relief most of the times even though his character was tragic and lost his daughter but they didn't explore too much on that because of course it's just a 12 episodes anime mostly wasted on boring ugly ninja mecha suits which is really sad because we could've at least had good looking fights but damn those suits had to ruin it all for they were just very distracting and unfitting to such story like don't get me wrong i really like mecha anime such as Gundam but the thing is Gundam actually knows how to make mecha fightis more engaging and interesting without any flashy animation too, that's called good writing. I really don't know why i didn't drop this but i wish did
