itsuomi...where do i begin with itsuomi. i'll just say it, i love him. i love him with the life force sustaining me. and i would gladly give it up if it meant i could be with him. it's too bad that i ship him to hard with yuki to even consider myself to be with him. every time i see him, i feel like yuki. essentially, i feel like it's illegal to believe such a person exists in this world. but, that's just it. i've never met an itsuomi in my life. i hear so much criticism that itsuomi is just too perfect? and it makes it unrealistic? well, guess what? i don't watch anime, read books, or watch movies & shows for realism. i hate reality and humans (so yes i hate myself too). i love escapism and the craving for what i can't have. and he fits that category to the tea. it's not just his face or good looks or height (though it helps, who doesn't love that?) it's his words, his personality, his voice, and him as a whole. communication is his middle name. he truly acts on impulse and says what comes to mind. and not in a bad way. social anxiety is afraid of this man, along with jealousy. he is so secure and sure of himself that he's literally a people magnet. he stands up for the people he loves and tells them off when they are in the wrong. i think i love him for his connection with languages. similarly, i am fascinated with languages & communication. currently, i'm majoring in linguistics. like itsuomi, i want to be able to help others be heard and understand one another. on top of learning about other cultures and the world they live in. my crushes have all pushed this dream of mine and he is just an additional fictional crush that is pushing me in that direction. he's one of the only people who doesn't treat yuki like glass. he treats her like any normal person and adjusts to her needs right away because that's how much he loves her. he does the bare minimum and more. he knows that and i know that. boundaries, communication, openness, all forms of love languages, and the gate to a bigger world. who wouldn't love him?

oushi is a douche (๑•̀ᗝ•́)૭ . dirtbag. idc about him. i see him as weak. but that's because of my preference. all my life i've been rejected and still am (even without saying anything, i know). but i never let it get to me, because all i wish for that person in time is their happiness. my love knows no bounds because if you truly cared for someone, then you should be happy for them, even if it's without you. like ripping off a bandaid, it's better for you to get it off your chest than live with nerves and fear for the rest of your life. oushi fucked around and found out, that teasing, bullying, and acting tsun-tsun, will get you nowhere in life. he had and has NO RIGHT to control yuki. she's not an object. sure he isn't mean to anyone else but it gives the wrong impression when it's to someone you like. she literally thinks it's weird when he's nice or apologizes because she's never seen him act like that around her. yea, it's not easy, and it hurts, when is love not? but he goes to show what a coward he is when itsuomi isn't jealous (like he wants him to be) and tries to understand him. even if we ignore that, he refuses to try and be friends with yuki and doesn't want to hear about how happy she is. you don't love her oushi. because if you did, you would understand how much she's grown, out of the cage she was put into, how many connections she's made. it's not even that, he's rude to her friends and says that she should have no friends (girl or boy otherwise) who aren't him. if this isn't ableist and controlling behavior idk what is. any man who tries to defend him, you're understanding, i'll give you that, but you're just as weak-minded as oushi is. girls, you aren't any better too. i don't need to elaborate. however, i will understand everyone's opinion about him, i guess. this is one of the best if not the best shoujo anime i've seen in a while. exploring so many different stories of love i always got excited every saturday for a new episode to drop. even if the focus wasn't on yuki & itsuomi, i always enjoyed the other couples just as much (i.e. emma & shin, kyoya & rin). this has earned it's place in my heart as one of my favorite anime
