Tbh, it took me ages to finish it. it is not that I didn't like it but sometimes I got tired or distracted with another things. However, now that I have finished it, I feel empty and I am more than glad to have reached the end cause it is worth watching. I sympathised a lot with the characters which is the worst part of finishing a show. It was so good actually, nevertheless I would delete some episodes which were not necessary at all.
Good plot, good characters and good soundtrack. I would comment on some aspects about this separately:
With respect to the characters, I cannot say that Asta is my favourite, cause despite I love him, I find that character so common and flat. Asta is an static character, so he remains the same all along the anime. That doesn't mean he is not good, but it is less appealing for me, as it has no personal development. he improves everyday, but his personality based on constance and strength has always been there since the very beginning. Apart from that, the other characters in some ways go through some changes, like for example Noelle, who at first was not able to make a simple attack and we can see her on episode 169 giving her best.
About the plot, I can say it was entertaining and it is obvious that has a previous hard work in order to connect all and to create each spell etc. That is something I value a lot, because it wouldn't be the same to watch something that has some faults in terms of concordance or have a so basic plot that you can even predict what is going to happen.
Respecting to the animation per se, I really liked it, not disappointed at all with this one as I always found it really visually appealing.
Moreover, when it comes to the soundtrack I didn't care much about the openings, because I got tired only by thinking that I had to watch 170 episodes and it was the longest anime I was going to see. So, what I did was to only listen each opening once and then I skipped. There was an exception with _Everlasting Sun _by TXT cause it really got me and I enjoyed every single beat of that opening (not only because I am a Kpop Stan). I would also like to remark the last ending called Beautiful by Treasure.
Finally I will highlight some random things that really touched me as the ''battle'' with Asta's demon, because of the fact that Asta is stronger thanks to the people with whom he has fought and his companions. Also, the way in which this is shown really reached my heart. I am not going to say anything more about the last episode, cause I would end up spoiling it so much, but I can say that probably it has been the most beautiful and touching for me.
I cannot wait to see what happens at the end...
