Few manga have declined as much as Jujutsu Kaisen, but I think all this hatred for the manga is a bit unfounded.
Of course, the ending was extremely extended, but even in the confusion of the final battle, there were some very good chapters, which ended up being overshadowed by the horrendous ones. When this part comes out in the anime, I guarantee you that the internet will be saying - Wow, I didn't remember it being so good. Gojou's battle against Sukuna is extremely good, I doubt it will ever be remembered, but all the stuff that comes after is a pain to read. You could see that it was: New character enters -> Sukuna hypa him -> Sukuna defeats him, it's frustrating how bad most of them are and they make the plan itself make no sense at all so that at the end (in the last 3 chapters, they explain why they couldn't by shitting the rules).
The main problem with Jujutsu is undoubtedly the bitter aftertaste it leaves. The work builds up such interesting things, but ends up hyper-fixating on Sukuna's fight and ignoring everything else, or rushing to the conclusion of everything and overextending Sukuna's fight. For example, Kenjaku, a mastermind, has been plotting all manga to simply lose without leaving anything for the future or costing the heroes anything, don't get me wrong, Takaba's fight, but concluding a character like Kenjaku with him simply without coming up with anything, is a bit ugly to see, even more so when it's extremely rushed and comes back to the most convoluted fight I've read in a long time. Something that bothers me a lot is when they bring back dead characters, it gives me the feeling of editorial pressure or a lack of courage on the part of the author. The last two chapters of Jujutsu are painful to read, it's so convoluted that it's nerve-wracking, it feels like the author or the editor are trying to justify the thousand mistakes that have happened, instead of trying to live with them and get on with life, it's very sad to see something fall to this level.
Otherwise Jujutsu is very good, Gojou's flashback is completely absurd to read and see in the anime, one of the best, if not the best, shonen arc of the current shonens (Bnha, Black Clover etc). I really like the Yaoi characteristics imprinted on Gojo's backstory, it's a tragic story that's very beautiful to watch. Shibuya is an excellent turning point arc, changing the manga tone well and setting the mood for the rest and the Slaughter Game Arch has some excellent fights, like Higuruma's. like how Jujutsu treats its power system, especially in Gojo's fight against Sukuna where everything is so well worked out, the 2 characters the author demonstrates understand the system so well that they can twist and distort it without breaking the initial idea already established. And that's really cool, the power system manages to be extremely complex, but at the same time intuitive to the point where it's not boring to read explanations, while at the same time it's easier not to contradict yourself, after all cursed energy is a very vague concept that has managed to be filled in very well.
I'm going to miss reading Jujutsu, even though I wanted it to end sooner, Gege is an excellent author and has managed to create extremely likeable characters who will be missed in Jump.
