I am not one to really like watching "borderline adult" ecchi anime though I do overlook certain "ecchi" moments because of a logical thinking. For instance, who bathes with their clothes on? But of course, I am not saying that anime should purely focus on those scenes whenever they could because it will be as good as the creators just making something adult-ish out of it, if you get my gist.
Nevertheless, this anime is one of the few anime that I decided to grace my attention with and let's just say that while I do understand the reason for the fan service, it still begs the question of "is it really necessary for it to happen?". Like why can't it be just a magical artifact that gets temporarily destroyed?
And while we are on the topic of "magical artifact", the story and world building itself isn't one that I would recommend paying attention to. For starters, the anime failed to explain clearly what their magical system is. All I get is that it somehow follows the seven deadly sins and each of the girls who are a part of the Trinity Seven (seven strongest mages in the magical academy) owns one of those sins that is the opposite of what they value, in some sense. For instance, Lilith's magic is the sin of lust while she herself is not one to show any sexual appeal, or is strongly against it, to Arata, the main protagonist.

I honestly feel that the story was written purely for the fan service, and the fan service only. Each time Arata meets a magical girl, he does perverted stuff to them. And the only other male character present in the show who plays an important role (in other words, he is not just one of the background characters) is the headmaster who also happens to be perverted.
(Picture Source: Random Curiosity thru' Google Image Search)While I don't highly recommend this anime, there is a moment in the series that I actually enjoyed. And that was when Arata transformed into Astral Trinity.

There may be some who prefers a lot of fan service in which this anime could be suited for you. But if you are also looking for a good story plot, then you may want to look somewhere else. While I enjoy the demon lord transformations, this anime still does not get a high score from me due to the seemingly poor writing of the story.
