Molester Man is a unique romcom. It feels incredibly grounded, which is, of course, a consequence of it being based on a real 2ch thread from the 2000s. This is a vital part of this story, coming up time and time again as the protagonist reports his experiences to internet strangers, while also playing an important part as context for the reader.
By virtue of being based on the experiences of a real nerd on the internet, the story feels incredibly real.
Apart from moments where the author has fun writing the comedy, the struggles that Molester Man and the cast face feel entirely grounded, and that's what makes the character development feel amazing to watch - nothing truly insane happens to Molester Man, so his growth is subtle throughout the story, but certainly noticable when he's put into a stressful situation.
The manga presents its story pretty well, although suffering from some amateurish paneling and not-the-greatest artstyle, though I personally think these things add a lot of charm to it. Whether you like it is up to you, I suppose.

The comedy in Molester Man falls into a similar situation as its artstyle - you'll either love it or not really like it. It's filled with references, jokes from early 2000s japanese internet, and your usual horny student stuff. Do keep in mind a lot of those jokes were written directly by the guy making the thread, though. I personally liked it a lot, however I can definitely see someone not enjoying it as much. If you've read Onani Master Kurosawa, it's pretty similar in the delivery of its comedy, due to having the same artist. I do think that even if you don't enjoy Molester Man's humor, it's still worth reading to see his struggles.
