Anime Review
I'm standing on a million lives
So what can I say about this anime that hasn't already been said? Watching this anime will leave you wanting to gouge out your eyes in the most gruesome way possible. This show is pretty bad.
Overall Plot
The main plot is that the characters are sent to another world, and they have to complete quests or risk dying. The overall plot doesn't make much sense, and the main character suffers from edgy teen angst. The MC is as unlikeable as possible and less relatable than a pile of horse shit. The main antagonist, I would likely assume, is the "face man" or whatever—I’m gonna be honest, I stopped caring about the story after episode one.
Somehow, this anime got a season two, which really doesn’t do much but make it even more annoying to watch. The main character has an extreme god complex, basically doesn’t care about anything, and is your stereotypical Jerry Sue type of character. The anime tries to be a survival-style Isekai, where their abilities in the other world will translate to their abilities in the real world, which they get transported to back and forth with no rhyme or reason.
Characters
Characters
The characters are incredibly lackluster in any type of personality. You could get more personality from putting glass in a microwave. There is some girl who is sick or whatever and gets better in the other world. There is another girl as well, who I could give two fucks about. Almost all of these characters have terrible personalities that make other bad Isekai seem like they were written with competent skill. These characters are just really annoying and have almost zero substance to make you care about them or their "struggles."
Execution
I’d say there was a plot to this show, but I’m gonna be honest here—I really don’t remember the plot, if it had one, or it was just really poorly executed. None of the characters face any real consequences for any of their actions in the show. Everything they do is meaningless in terms of character development and just serves as a piece to progress the "story," which is really stupid.
Almost every episode is just exposition after exposition. The annoying main MC disregards everyone and basically wants to commit mass genocide on Tokyo for a really stupid fucking reason. If you are expecting any kind of character development or growth, go watch something else.
Conclusion
Final Verdict
The only really good thing I can say about this anime is the OP and ED, and that’s really it. Also, the main MC has no problem killing people because throughout the first season, he’s convinced everything is a video game, so he suffers no real consequences. This anime is god-awful. My conclusion is that this show should be avoided if you value your free time.
