Kimi ni Todoke S2 finally sets the relationship between Kuronuma and Kazehaya in development. But just like any other romance-drama series, the show is filled with lots of misunderstandings and shenanigans.
(Picture Source: Hollow Pursuits thru' Google Image Search)In case you have forgotten the general synopsis of the story, it is basically about a teenage girl named Kuronuma Sawako who has been greatly misunderstood by her peers due to her eerie aura and awkwardness. This resulted in rumours of her being a witch of sorts and also caused her to be shunned by both her classmates and schoolmates. However, in Season 1, Kuronuma began to develop friendly relationships with her classmates with the help and encouragement of Kazehaya Shouta.
(Picture Source: AugustMan thru' Google Image Search)It was quite obvious to the audience in Season 1 that romantic feelings were beginning to develop between our two protagonists, but just like any good show, both of them needed to figure it out themselves. Season 1 introduced a romantic rival for Kuronuma, and Season 2 was no exception to that. This time, it was Kazehaya who has a romantic rival.

Unfortunately, misunderstandings is a recurring theme in the series. As we go deeper into Kuronuma's relationships in Season 2, the misunderstandings became much more tense than that of Season 1.

The great thing about this season is that it gives you a sense of completion, as in the long journey we had with Kuronuma from Season 1 and all the way into Season 2 has finally come to a fruitful end.
