This anime is not your ordinary/typical romance anime. The story is quite something that you would not expect and that make this anime what is but let get straight down to it. When i started this anime i thought and expected it would be a normal/ordinary romance anime but it was far from it. It start with a transfer student called Mikoto Urabe, she is a lonely and mysterious person. until the MC, Akira Tsubaki founds her asleep drooling in class and Tsubaki accidentally puts his finger in it, and suddenly the phrase "sharing spit with a girl" takes on an entirely new meaning! Before he can wipe her drool off his face, Tsubaki is mysteriously addicted to Urabe, which isn't half as strange as the fact that she not only finds this normal, but already seems to have plans for her new drooling boyfriend.
By that short and quick summary you can already see that this is a strange anime as these two character have a drool bond ; this is the main part that sets this anime apart from the other romance anime as this is all about drool and i personally think this make this anime what it is as it was a good anime due to the fact there are many romance anime that are similar with each other but the anime is not one of them.
It not only the story that make this a good anime but it art/animation. This anime had an old art/animation for 2012 anime but this make it unqiue as it was the only anime to have an old art/animation which make this an peculiar anime as it had a weird story and an old art/animation for it's year.
But this anime did have something that wasn't unique/weird and that is the characters. Other than the fact that Urabe is a bit weird but the rest of the characters are normal. I liked this as this make Urabe more special and important in the show escpecially as she is the mysterious girlfriend. There was not that much progression with the relationship with Urabe and Tsubaki as they did not even went on one date with each other which is kind of sad but their relationship was nice/funny to watch but they do have a special and different relationship compared with other romance anime. And you know what else was funny to watch was the boys ; they were so funny how they interacted with each other especially when they were rating each girl in their class and writing it in a book but the sad thing is there weren't that many scene with them.
Now the many question is, is it worth watching? i would say yes it was a good anime and it will be something different and unique from the normal romance. It had some funny moment especially with the boys character but don't expect romantic scenes as there are not that many in this show.
