Background:
This is my first time i've ever reviewed a manga, and since 2025's Lunar Holiday (Year of the Snake, where i lived), I have been binge-reading this series like absolute crazy.
I haven't been reading for like so long, and this definitely reignited some form of fire in me.
Note: This review will be covering the contents on chapter 51-onwards, as the Anime Season 2 might, and WILL be adapting those before it, and I will have my personal thoughts on Season 2 when it finishes its airing, if I have time to make one.
And again, spoilers to everything, as this series in my opinion needs to be talked deeply to be understood.
Characters: Overall,
Summary on my thoughts on every character on a tier list, since this series has so many pivotal characters at once in every chapter. (It's literally on the title, duh).

(Opinions may change as time goes on)
In spite of, once again, the ever growing amount of girlfriends existing in the next like 9 chapters (which is a loop they've been doing in the later chapters, meaning about 120-onwards), the series finds a way to make it not seem bloated in the slightest, and makes the pacing overall feel natural and in place.
B and C tiers are there, because the characters (small Kusuri, Tama, Suu, Momiji, and especially Chiyo) have less importance when compared to others.
Starting with Kusuri, she doesn't have many interesting things outside of the drugs she creates, though her highlight is definitely Chapter 125, Kusuri and Kishika in that chapter had some very intense panels.
Next is Tama, and Suu, Both suffer the problem of not having enough TIME/MOMENTS for them to shine, even though they're promising in terms of character development.
Momiji: Her personality is a bit boring in general.
and Chiyo: quite annoying personality, and doesn't really add much to the cast outside of being a cousin, and even though she has a lot of chapters backing her up, she herself isn't improved much in my opinion.
Despite that though, I still consider every character to be decent at least, and immaculate at best, I don't HATE any of them, despite how condencending it may sound.
Every other character that I liked more: Every single one has a moment, every single one has a time for them to shine, and even twice, and thrice (With the case of Shizuka, Miss Naddy, and Nano/Mimimi)
It's just so lively and charming seeing the cast, solo date, group date, whatever date it is, it's always so great seeing this amazing rotation of girlfriends in every chapter.
Definitely one of my favorite aspects of the series.
Story:
Overall, very amazing story, pacing, and atmosphere, along with a very good message for loving someone.
HOWEVER, my main complaint, and that's also why the aforementioned girlfriends who i liked less are low, is the Daily Life (Both the Girlfriend Only, and Rentarou/Girlfriend) chapters, they're, while still great, not really serve to develop anybody, and when the girlfriend amount is increasing at every moment, it becomes more and more of a problem
Artstyle: ![]()
WOW, WOW!, every single chapter dude, emotional, comedic, heartbreaking, whatever, all are brilliantly drawn and excellently directed.
just, wow, every pixel, every frame is near perfection, I could not put into words, how great the art is, and just awe in sheer amazement on the direction of this manga, from top to bottom, it is BY far the best quality, and it makes the silhouettes of all of the Girlfriends and Rentarou, recognizable.
(A compilation of one of my favorite moments where the artstyle and art direction is at its best.)
