Synopsis
This movie is about a young man in college helping a young woman who is physically lame in her daily life. Throughout the film, they grow closer and, in turn, help each other grow stronger as well.
Plot/Story 10/10
I enjoyed how the story developed. Nothing felt out-of-place or cliché, and the plot was well-paced. The story itself was very well-written and complex, perfectly capturing what it means to be disabled, and weighing the pros and cons of disability. This is the first time I have cried twice in one sitting…
Animation/Design 10/10
The animation and art were spectacular. Every shot looked wonderful: the backgrounds, the characters, the different angles. Every part of it looked pleasant to look at; I could not find a single fault in the animation and design. Even the people walking around in the background were animated! Anyway, it was just really well done. Kudos to the animation studio bones for handling this film.

Audio/Soundtrack 9/10
Evan Call’s music has again been spectacular to listen to. He helped me be immersed in the beautiful film perfectly. All the soundtracks fit with each scene, and they were so well played. Eve’s insert song, Ao no Waltz, and ending song, Shinkai were nice as well. The only thing I did not like was the opening song, Take Me Far Away, composed by Evan Call and sung by Ai Ichikawa. Sorry, it’s a personal preference, but I just don’t enjoy hearing English songs in anime. The music in it was nice, though.
Conclusion
I think this movie was well done, and I enjoyed it a lot. I would recommend it to others but probably not to people who can’t take stuff like this seriously. I think that it can be enjoyed by anyone, though, as long as they can watch it properly. If you like stuff like A Silent Voice or Violet Evergarden, I think you would like this.
