My Review of "The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, REALLY Love You"!

"She gave a hearty laugh"Story
Rentarou Aijou, although quite the friendly fellow, has been rejected 100 times throughout his lifetime. After having a unique encounter with a God, he discovers that he's destined to meet 100 soulmates all for him. However, he can't just pick one. If he rejects a soulmate, that soulmate will end up dying. Rentarou now has to manage a plentiful amount of girlfriends as more of them continue to meet him.
Visuals
For a romantic anime, the visuals are actually pretty nice when it comes to the expressions of the characters. You can see the emotions of the characters portrayed perfectly in each frame. Otherwise, the visuals are good.
Characters
So pretty much we got the main character Rentarou Aijou who's a genuinely caring guy. He tries his best to equally share his love across all of his girlfriends. Speaking of which, let's hear it for the girls! Hakari Hanazono is quite the friendly girl who has a very, VERY huge personality. Karane Inda is a tsundere, which is all there is to really say about her. Shizuka Yoshimoto is a shy librarian who prefers to speak through the lines of her favorite book. Nano Eiai (best girl alert) is pretty much Shouko Komi's body with the color scheme and personality of Kyoko Kirigiri. Kusuri Yakuzen is quite an interesting character as although being older than Rentarou, usually presents herself as a younger girl to make it easier for her experiments. Also, she loves drugs (don't worry, she's the one who knocks :D ). Hahari Hanazono is, uhm.... she's the daughter of Hakari Hanazono. Yeah, that pretty much says everything you need to know about her.
The Good
The narrator is very entertaining. Without the narrator, the show would lose a quality that brought extra appeal. It's similar to the narrator of the Kaguya-Sama dub where he's pretty funny without contributing anything important to the plot. The comedy of this anime is very hilarious. All the small little references they throw in turns what was a decent scene into a memorable one. The fanservice was mostly used for a non-awkward purpose, making them actually tolerable. Alongside the fanservice, there was also an appropriate amount of wholesomeness that is needed for a good anime, providing an enjoyable side for those who aren't that much of a fan of fanservice. I'm also glad that they didn't introduce all 100 girlfriends in this season, preventing what might've been a very overwhelming story from taking place.
The Bad
Uhm, I feel a bit awkward with the whole situation between Hakari, Hahari, and Rentarou. That was completely weird but kinda predictable with the scenario given. I just don't enjoy those types of "tropes" in my anime. Going back to the entire anime, not all of the fanservice was comedic. A few scenes felt over the top and a bit too much for a "haha" reaction.
The Downright Ugly
Surprisingly, there wasn't anything downright ugly about this harem anime.
Is It Worth The Watch?
If you're fine with fanservice, I'd recommend you to at least consider watching this anime. For a harem anime, this is actually pretty unique and hilarious. Even with the fanservice, the show ties most of it in a comedic way, actually making it less disturbing. Will definitely be watching S2 when I get to it (a review will be out for that as well).
Thank you for taking the time to read my review. I hope this helped you with your decision on whether to watch this anime or not! If you already have watched it, I hope that you can agree with me with some of the points I made. ^^
