Anime Review | Failure Frame

This is your typical isekai story—once again, we have your protagonist who is ranked the lowest and rises above it all. That is what I would love to say if this anime didn't make me want to kill myself. This anime truly was the biggest waste of time I have ever fucking watched.
I hated every single minute I sat through watching this. If I could, I would go back in time to stop myself from watching this literal travesty of a show. How did you manage to animate episode one so well, but then let the rest of the episodes become even worse—even with the writing? How is that even possible? Failure Frame's title is right on the money because this show is fucking awful and really fucking pissed me off.
It is literally horrible and grating to look at. Watching this show harms your senses in the same way kryptonite makes Superman lose all his power. This show is excruciating to watch. If you thought Ex-Arm was bad, well, wait no further—Failure Frame is here to take the trophy. This show is literal brain rot and will leave you wanting to punch out your screen.
We have your typical high school student who gets summoned to another world. And, surprise! He is completely useless in ways that basically mean death. The "goddess" banishes him to the lowest parts of hell, basically, and he's useless most of the time since he has no real skills yet.
But the thing is, even when he gets all these skills, it feels pointless to even care because the animation is so bad it makes you forget about anything else. At this point, I don't even know why the studio behind this show even bothered to finish it. This is one of those shows where I actually feel secondhand embarrassment for the voice actors who were held at gunpoint to finish this literal excrement of a revenge-isekai show.
I don't know what they were thinking when they decided to make the plot so fucking stupid. Touka Mimori is the main character of this show, and the whole premise for him being rejected by the goddess is that he was summoned as an R-ranked character—basically useless in terms of skills and anything else. He eventually escapes the dungeon he was banished to and seeks revenge against the goddess who banished him in the first place.
Though the whole plot doesn't even matter because the animation is so bad, the music in this show is extremely annoying, and I'm pretty sure they used royalty-free music at some point—I am not kidding, it is that bad. It wants to be a dark fantasy, but it fails at even being dark. It's dark fantasy written by a five-year-old.
The writing is really poor and predictable. The villains are fucking stupid, and most of the time—since the budget barely exists—the villains aren't even animated, or they barely T-pose. I mean, COME ON.
This show is excruciating to watch, with a horrible hook and no reason to care about the ambitions or goals of the MC. This show was horrible to watch, and I do not recommend watching it if you actually value your free time..
