Initial Impressions
Spoiler, click to view
From the beginning, Episode 1 grips you with its intense opening scenes. I was not expecting the death of QL and the sacrificial act of CXS for LG right away, and it set up the mood for the rest of the series. As you went on in further episodes, you had a completely newer point of view as you know some of the guilt and anguish that LG carries from the past timelines.

Character Dynamics and Growth
I loved seeing how the relationship between CXS and LG grew throughout the arc.
Spoiler, click to view
LG's possession of CXS's powers after his death adds a layer of feelings to the entire plot, as it showcases the sacrifices and consequences of altering time. The efforts that LG put into saving CXS’s life like those intricate notes of all the timelines he’s been through and his overprotectiveness of CXS purely because he doesn’t want to see him die again only pull on the heartstrings even more.

Artistic Development
The Yingdu Arc definitely has the best art of all the 3 released parts by far. The attention to the detail and even LG’s hair coloring was great to see, and I loved how much more work was put into this arc’s animation. There was so much symbolism in the series too, with the grey-toned representation of LG, contrasting the vibrant scenery of the opening along with the recurring symbolism of the fire.

Soundtrack
I LOVE THE MUSIC. Full stop.
The Yingdu arc's opening is a visual masterpiece, and the anime is accompanied by a soundtrack that enhances the emotional feel of each scene. Literally when the opening aired on Spotify, all I did was loop it for days on end. The ending was a masterpiece too, with its slower and more melancholy tone contrasting the optimistic one of the opening.
#Conclusion
In conclusion, Link Click's Yingdu arc is truly a masterpiece in donghua culture, being one of the best (and only) ones I’ve watched. Overall, this 6 episode continuation was definitely worth the wait with its remarkable soundtrack and visuals, along with the introduction and explanation of new and troublesome characters.
