I'VE WATCHED THIS MOVIE BEFORE!!!!Story ZENSHU follows the story of famous animator Natsuko Hirose. After accidentally consuming a poisonous dish, she wakes up in a familiar scene. After meeting a few other characters, she discovers that she’s in the world of her favorite movie, “A Tale of Perishing”. Knowing the tragic ending that lies ahead, she tries her hardest to change the story in hopes to give the protagonist a better ending.

Characters Natsuko Hirose is very dedicated to her craft. She’s definitely a perfectionist, always wanting to create a masterpiece with her creativity and artistic skills. The protagonist of “A Tale of Perishing,” Luke Braveheart, initially comes off as prideful and ignorant. However, after knowing the importance of Natsuko, becomes more friendly and caring. His pals, a small, but energetic unicorn named Unio, a clever elf named Memmeln, and a robot named QJ, accompany him as members of the Nine Soldiers, preventing enemies known as Voids from destorying the city.

The Good Music. Music. MUSIC! Holy moly I love the ED. And the OP? Don’t even get me started. It’s definitely my favorite OP of this season. The scene with the papers flying with the colorful background always gives me goosebumps. The guitars go crazy and always gets me hyped for a new episode. And the animation, what else is there to expect from the works of MAPPA? The story was well-crafted and contained a few twists that I didn’t expect. I really, really loved this show.

The Bad This anime did come off a bit misleading. It does initially feel like an anime centered around the process of animation, but it ends up becoming something that’s almost completely different. However, I will say that the final product is still entertaining to say the least.

Is It Worth The Watch? This is definitely one of MAPPA’s banger anime. There’s little to no issues that I find with the show, with each episode being very entertaining. Yes, this is absolutely worth the watch.
