Writing the reviews for the following seasons will kinda suck because I will write them seperately, but I cannot get away my urge to write this one rn. This contains light spoilers!
Kaguya Sama, Love is war is a piece of media in my anime list that I’m happy to have innit!
The setting is like so banger, we have typical spy series combined with the setting of romantic levels of power, combined with an awesome cast AND THE MOST GIGACHAD NARRATOR EVER IN AN ANIME (I’ve watched so far). I watched on english btw. The character arc is kinda none existent for the supporting characters but our mcs get closer and closer, I mean, what else do you expect from a romance… ok reverse romance would be crazy, but this is, seen from the arc, our typical romance mcs get closer, arc. But the last episode, I’m telling ya’, it’s amazing!
The part where I talk about the general qualities, those being frickn awesome. I could not come up with a studio better suited than A1 for this one. It’s all well animated and so appropriate for the genre and style of the anime, the characters look great and the opening and ending(s) are great, especially Chikatto Chika Chika! It’s a banger, It will get some more plays on my osu acount lol.
The Cast, perfection, muuaw ~
The whole mc group is like so fun to watch interact and Yuu and Chika support the character arc well, in their ways… Chika one of the most fun supporting characters I've encountered and she makes the show so much more enjoyable!
Also like, Kaguya's eyes are like so damn pretty, I love her red theming!
The general humour is also just something else, it’s all very nicely based around the whole spy thingi. Really enjoyable there are the little dumb comments the narrator throws in, it’s hilarious! The general appeal is some fun, romance, spy, wild cast anime. Wild combination but it works! Oh yeah, did I mention that the narrator is a frickn gigachad? Also the ramen episode (or chapter or whatever) is like so funny. I love that they somehow grabbed a character from that into the last episode!
Overall, this is a must watch, atleast at some point! If you don't know what to watch, watch this, trrrrust meeee!
I will now get going on the second season of Ms. Kobayashis dragon maid and remember to do your duolingo! (If you do it, and maybe catch up all those never did legendary lessons, trust me there too, it’s very satisfying to have the section all gold!!).
Have a great, idk, week? Ok, yeh, have a great week!
(If you want to see my notes that I took while watching, look no further than HERE, basenji, I hope linking my notes is fine >.<)
