Its been a very long time since I've watched something so entertaining that I would sacrifice my sleep for. Our Exams just ended so I wanted to watch something that would entertain me every episode and something that could just make me relax while watching it. I found about this anime a long time ago in some random tiktok video. Never would've expected that it would be this good.

I rated the anime itself as a 10/10. I only have a few animes that i rate a full 10 such as steins;gate, clannad, and violet evergarden, I'm not saying that this show is as good as those animes, but i gave it a 10/10 because its been a while since i've seen such an orginal anime thats also very entertaining in alot of ways. The emotions behind every scenes and battles is just so amazing. The battle of Milza and Theo, battle of Ideals and Ambitions is just super good. I also couldn't believe that this Anime finished everything in just 1 season. I hoped that it would had a 2nd season, since its super entertaining. I would watch episode after episode that it looks like each episode is just 10minutes long just because of how hooked up i am while watching it that i forgot to look at the time.

The characters are also amazingly written well. The MC, Theo Cornaro would've been better if they gave him a full backstory of his father and his drive to change sistina and the world, but other than that IDC if other people hates him. For me, Theo defines a true HERO in Anime, someone who doesnt want to involve the innocent, someone who sticks to his ideals, someone who is true to himself, and someone who truly cares for his friends and his queen. Another of my favorite character is Villar, i don't wanna go too specific about each character in the show, but all i have to say about Villar is, he's the only few who deserves to be an Emperor.

Now lets talk about the genre, The show reminds me alot of Magi, Log Horizon, and Chain Chronicle. It kinda has the same vibe as Chain Chronicle and story where they fight together to defeat the demon king, it also reminds me of Log Horizon when it comes to war especially since Log Horizon has alot of parts where they go and negotiate at wars and stuff, It reminded me of Magi a lot too, it kinda has the same vibe which i just can't explain. Now lets talk about the real genre, I didnt expect it would have romance on it as a genre when i first saw the Anime, i got kinda bored watching Romance anime since they dont give me that sweet and romantic excitement anymore, but while watching Record of Grancrest, the wholesome slowburn relationship of Theo and Silicu made me feel that romantic excitement even just a little bit, it feels good to try something fresh outside of what you've been watching always. The action and war is really good, it doesn't feel empty and every fight feels so hyped up which doesnt make it boring, and since A-1 Pictures animated, its very well expected.

Overall i really love this Anime, its not very well written, but its hella entertaining that will get you hooked up at just the few episodes from the start. Hopefully it gets the recognition it deserves. 10/10 finished at April 5, 2025.
