__1. Story/Plot, Writing & Genre Faithfulness: _WEIGHTAGE 30% (5/10)___
Up to the 12 episodes I’ve watched, the story hasn’t progressed significantly. Instead, the focus seems to be on presenting an increasingly chaotic blend of supernatural elements. While this “acid trip” style of storytelling can be intriguing—and has been used by other shows—the narrative felt lacking in terms of deeper story or lore development. That said, one particular episode hinted at the anime’s potential to become more than just a chaotic experience, suggesting there may be more substantial plot developments in future seasons.
The anime stays true to its acid-horror-comedy genre, and what elevates it are the tragic undertones that occasionally surface, offering unexpected emotional depth amid the madness.
__2. Character Development & Worldbuilding: _WEIGHTAGE 5% (1/10)___
So far, character development hasn’t been a major focus, and that’s okay—not all anime need deep character arcs. That said, there are some glimpses of character nuance, so I’d give it partial credit in that area. As for worldbuilding, it feels like the show is slowly laying the groundwork. There are scattered elements that hint at a broader world, and I’m hoping these will be expanded upon in future episodes.
__3. Pacing, Music & Animation Quality: _WEIGHTAGE 15% (8/10)___
The pacing feels well-optimized—neither too slow nor too rushed. The animation is top-tier, with Episode 7 standing out in particular. The music complements the visuals well and enhances the overall experience.
__4. Uniqueness: _WEIGHTAGE 15% (3/10)___
While the show delivers chaotic and trippy visuals effectively, it's not entirely unique. Similar anime have explored this style and aesthetic before, so it doesn’t break much new ground in that regard.
__5. Entertainment Value: _WEIGHTAGE 35% (6/10)___
I was moderately entertained. The comedy didn’t always land for me, but the show managed to keep my interest enough that it never felt boring.
CONCLUSION:- This anime is a mixed bag—visually arresting and occasionally poignant, but narratively scattered and still searching for its footing. While it faithfully embraces its acid-horror-comedy genre and delivers standout animation and pacing, it struggles with cohesive storytelling and character depth. There are glimpses of greater potential buried within the chaos, hinting that future seasons might offer more substance. For now, it’s a moderately entertaining ride best suited for viewers who enjoy experimental storytelling and don’t mind sacrificing plot clarity for style and atmosphere.
