Let's go on a journey. Life may seem complicated or challenging, with numerous setbacks ranging from physical to emotional obstacles, as well as the exploration of a new location. It's a tough decision for most, but for Chika, the decision is a matter of desperation and ease. She did it for inspiration after receiving all the rejections, despite being a talented mangaka who had won an award. Who, out of boredom, decided to take a trip based on an online poll. And the first trip origin story. While this is a highly unrealistic situation, someone can be in. The trip showcases the vibrancy of locations.
Animation (10): It's animated pretty well, with the CGI blending in pretty well. Despite its uncanny and genuinely average style, it possesses a unique charm that allows for exploring each location, including some of the most notable places that are well-animated and feel like authentic settings in Japan. That showcases the charm and the scenery of the locations within the show. Revealing each of the locations in a beautiful way while looking generic. But the audio sounds vibrantly cute.
Characters (13.3): We follow Chika, a struggling Mangaka, and her friends, who are interested in her journey. Such is the starry angle that sums up her view on traveling. It might be hard, but the views are gorgeous from above. The phrase "It's different high up" in relation to Chika's travels. Finally, she got her first manga published alongside Zastu. From each of her friends, she encounters a diverse range of people on the road, such as Yui, who is interested in historical facts and enjoys manga, and Riri, who likes food and sake. Their act seems stereotypical and, in some cases, even nonsensical, like the conflict. Such as Chika and her friend Koyomi got on the wrong bus and realized it was a simple mistake. But some of the dynamics make it seem out of place. However, Koyomi seems like the cheerful type who is willing to lift Chika's spirits, given her past actions.
However, some conflicts do not arise, such as those between terms of relations or plot. Such as Riri and Fuyune, her Manga Artist partner. Who fought over a dispute over food preferences rather than a more serious matter, such as travel costs or a cheating scandal. That could pertain to the plot and add interesting dynamics. But since they are based on actual friends and targeted as a traveling showcase. Some of the conflicts are treated more like gags than being taken seriously. Although the terms of interesting relations, nice strife could have been better. The dynamics and relationships between Chika and others are well portrayed. The conflicts can be more serious rather than gag-based despite being targeted toward travelers.
Story (10.5): It's first impression as a travel anime with Chika and her friends going on trips from time to time. It's a generic story that showcases the highlights of each place, spanning a year in the show, from a Dabeet poll that originated from the Chika's social media. The show, based on real travel adventures through Japan, is pulled from the author's personal experiences and journeys, an interesting original idea for a show, as seen in the origins of adapted manga.
Overall (4): In short, this series is enjoyable while having a hiccup with unrealistic conflict and plot. It's a delightful show despite its generic line. Showcasing travel in Japan and inspiration for a plan that has never started, whether it's a local place or an international trip. It's truly a journey from start to end.
