One of the most enjoyable anime I have watched, which is worth seeing and presented an exceptional level, similar to previous works from the VN (Visual Novel) studio Key, the creators of the best drama anime, Clannad. I won't prolong this and will get right into the topic.

What is the anime Little Busters!?

The story of this anime is a series of friendships and social issues, each time revolving around one character's circle to solve their problems. It begins with the return of the character Kyosuke to school to finish his last year with a good time among his friends. As a result, he forms a baseball team with four old friends who were loyal childhood companions. Riki is the main character of the story who, throughout the episodes, helps his friends overcome their social and psychological problems. Consequently, he gets to know a group of friends like Kud, Komari Nishizono, Yuiko, Haruka, and others.

Why should we watch this anime?

Perhaps the only reason that drew me to watch this anime was nothing but its presentation style. I liked the character designs and thought it would be enjoyable and have a good story. But in reality, what happened was unexpected because the production quickly pulled me in; I finished watching the entire series in 36 hours. What is noteworthy in this story is the narration of the characters' own stories, each with a unique perspective and social view of their surroundings. For example, Komari-san is a happy and smiling girl who always philosophizes about happiness in a sweet manner. She tells a story in which she believes the circle of happiness is not endless; in a moment, everyone disappears, and you mourn a past that you later forget. It's similar to the birth of chicks; they grow up, and perhaps all of them die due to environmental factors, then new chicks hatch from eggs, and the hen bestows her happiness once again, just like the first time, to the new chicks in an endless cycle of joy. Sometimes it's strange to ask why we watch stories like this, and it might be a question many have. But what is worth mentioning is that value is not always created at the end of a war-torn story with an antagonist, ending happily for the hero. Rather, the simplicity of the characters' lives in this story might have reached a level where I could compare it to an Iyashikei-like production, yet the depth of its dialogue is on par with the conversations between characters in Vinland Saga, even though it conveys a message of friendship. This is my opinion.

So, how many episodes is it? Let's watch it.

The anime Little Busters! consists of the story of 10 friends. The anime has 26 episodes for the first season and 13 episodes for the second season, titled Little Busters! Refrain. In my opinion, the story is suitable for teenagers to understand, and they will benefit greatly from it. The anime is free of inappropriate content. However, episode 15 is like a filler because it doesn't advance the story and is just comedy. One of the character's stories involves a traditional Japanese family ceremony for marriage, and it was the first time I had seen this idea discussed in an anime, as it narrates the unpleasant aspects of it.
