I have no idea what to write for this anime. Do I like it? Yes, I guess, otherwise I would not have given it a scoring above 50. Is there anything in the anime that I dislike? Definitely, not all anime are flawless even though I do give some a perfect scoring.

Komi Can't Communicate is a story following two protagonist, Komi and Tadano, who both live out their daily school lives by being helping one another (to some extent). For Tadano, after his last embarassing bout in middle school, he decided to stick to being a wallflower and not attract any attention in high school. However, being assigned a seat next to the "goddess of the school" has overturned his plan to not stand out. As for Komi, she struggles with social anxiety where she desperately wants to make friends but has a lot of difficulty in doing so. In one scene, they both came to a mutual understanding when Tadano gently encouraged Komi to communicate via the classroom's blackboard. From then, both of them have become friends while Tadano helps Komi to make 99 more friends using her Book of Friends (we see what they did there).

Of course, Komi is the polar opposite where people revered her as a living goddess, but it is because of that Komi couldn't have any real friends until she met Tadano (who is also a polar opposite of a certain character in Kimi ni Todoke, I would say).
The one difference between the two series is that Komi Can't Communicate has very colourful people in the series, from people with ninja skills to a person who has over 1000 friends and still manages to maintain strong relationships with all of them. While it may seem like an extreme norm to have in the show, there is definitely reason for such factor to exist in it. After all, the show has been emphasizing the uniquness of the school the characters are enrolled in.
While the show is very interesting, there are characters, or specifically a character, who really struck a nerve with me. Ren Yamai.
(Picture Source: Screen Rant thru' Google Image Search)A little spoiler, Ren is extremely obsessed with Komi to the point that she is willing to go to the extreme. I liked how Komi managed to put her in her place at the end of the ordeal but I dislike how she was willing to let Ren to be part of her friend group. Ever since then, Ren had become an unbearable character due to her constant obsession with Komi to the point where I am this close to stop watching the anime.
Regardless, this anime does have its cute moments such as how they constantly potray Komi as a little cat. Her emotions and true feelings were constantly presented with her little cat ears popping out of her head.
