A CRAZY IDEA ... A PERFECT EXECUTION
I still can't fathom how Japan could make a series about
RACE HORSE IDOL GIRLS become so serious.
This movie simply reaches JJK levels of animation, making a 2 minutes race look as epic as a fight between gods.
I must say, this one didn't hit me on emotional level like the previous seasons. The tears I shed for the traumatic and sad stories of the first three seasons were replaced by tears caused by the excessive (but faboulous) use of shining lights, rainbows flows and fluid animation.
I loved this approach, it made every race seem reach the speed of light, with air collapsing and space reshaping around the Uma Musume. I'm not even angry this got such a good animation and Berserk didn't ...
I think more people should open their mind and watch this amazing anime, that teaches how to confront reality and obstacles on the way to your dreams.
the SOCIOPATH AGNES TACHYON & the FRUSTRATED JUNGLE POCKET
Agnes Tachyon was the star of this movie. A literal sociopath
obsessed with discovery,
obsessed with the pursuit of the speed of light, aiming to
destroy the limit of the horse girls for the sole purpose of discovering what's after that ... to the point of even
destroying herself in the process.
4 Races ... 4 Victories
> I want to know. At the boundaries if the potential we Umamusume hold, at the limits of speed my flesh can reach ... What lies beyond ?
She became the nightmare of the main character, Jungle Pocket, who had nothing to envy over Tachyon, but got scarred by the 2 consecutive losses against her to the point of being persecuted by her failure, becoming frustrated, angry, unable to confront her rival in another race.
SUPPORTIVE SUPPORT CHARACTERS
Fuji Kiseki and
Trainer Nabi were such good support roles, the Inspiration and the Trainer of "Pokke".
They gave her a
purpose, a reason to run, and through her, be able to regain
control over their lost dreams.
In an equal exchange, Pokke gave Kiseki the strength and courage to return in the Race World,
and gave Nabi the appellative of Derby Trainer, by winning the Japan Derby under his wings.
Rivalry, Friendships, Obsession, Dreams.
I'm not ashamed to say that the Uma Musume franchise explored these themes better than most of the other medias I've viewed.
