Story ════ ⋆★⋆ ════ The story follows Monica Everett, known to the world as the legendary "Silent Witch." She earned this title because she's one of the few mages capable of casting powerful spells without chants. While others see her as a natural-born genius, the reality is that she's just super shy and developed this technique to avoid speaking in public. Her quiet life is disrupted when she's given a secret mission: enroll at a magical school in disguise to act as a bodyguard for the kingdom's prince, who is under threat. The story is good, and Monica is such a cutie. She has that same weirdness and social anxiety that we can find in other animes such as Bocchi the Rock!. At times the anime can be dramatic and slow, but in general, I really enjoyed the story. This is mostly because it focuses on a lot of different aspects; it has tons of comedy moments, fighting, and drama, making it a very complete anime.

Art ════ ⋆★⋆ ════ The art is good and the character designs are well done. They all look different, and the artists did a great job with expressions; when someone gets mad, you can really see their facial expressions change. Add that to the point that they change the style of the anime to have Chibi designs in cute moments, and it's very enjoyable to watch.
(This anime has a ton of reaction gifs)In terms of animation, it's very fluid. Most of the anime is traditionally drawn, and I cannot remember any moment that was straight-up CGI (besides crowds, etc.). The part in which it amazed me a lot was the magic, which was well done, with spells really showing beautiful elements such as fire.

Characters ════ ⋆★⋆ ════ There are an average amount of characters in this series, including Monica, her school friends, the prince and his friends, other magicians, and various side characters. They're well done, and the side characters have time to show what they're made of, which adds depth to the series.
(Me writing this review)As I talk about main characters, Monica is great. She's cute, shy, funny, and strong. She is everything you can ask for in a main character, and I loved seeing her development throughout the show.

Soundtrack ════ ⋆★⋆ ════ The soundtrack was good. Since it's a medieval show, it has that "towns folk" style that is classic in RPGs and similar fantasy settings. The overall sound was good enough to immerse me in several moments, from fight scenes with up-tempo music to comedy scenes with totally silly tracks. Overall, this was a great aspect of the anime. Going specific about the OP/ED. I really enjoyed the ED, the OP music wasn't really that great in my opinion.

Conclusion
════ ⋆★⋆ ════
If you're like me, you skip everything and read only the conclusion because you don't want to get spoiled with other themes. So I will try to be brief on this point:Watch it.This anime has a bit of everything: drama, comedy, fighting, good characters, and good animation. If you're mostly into comedy/drama and you like animes such as Bocchi the Rock!, this anime is perfect for you. Even if this isn't the kind of anime you normally watch, try a few episodes because for me, it was a delight to watch.
