I love love loooovve this manga, from the lovable characters to the glorious strategic fights. I just love the direction that gege took with this. I understand the issues with the ending that many had, but I thought it was a proper ending that left enough open for a potential sequel in the future that I think gege wanted to have. The spinoff is great and doesn't over complicate the foundation set by this story. dont get me started on the world building and power system that he infused. It's simple but open enough to allow for complexity and creative tactic to be infused within as seen with many battles in the culling games arc. I just love this manga so damn much. Yuji as a character grows so much despite the setback and hardships he faced. It's almost heartbreaking to see how different he is from the first chapter to the last, i believe that Gege loves to give Yuji some of the hardest battles physically and mentally. The villians in this seires were also some of the coolest in design and strength. Now, this series isn't perfect, sure Gege might have rushed some plots like the Zenin clan massacre, Yuji's past, Yaga's death, or even the history of Jujutsu Sorcery. I think that last one could be its whole series if he wanted. The subtle nods with the reincarnated sorceres from the Heian era knowing eachother were intruiging enough that I would love to go more in depth to how they all interacted. The obvious relaitonship between Sukuna and Kenjaku is another plot line I would love to see fleshed out. The dialogue and character interactions are also phenomenal, i really like how all the characters in this series have some really interesting connections and they all seem to be able to progress in their development even off screen so it feels like we are existing in a moving world and not that we are moving the world with our existence in witnessing it. The symbolism when it comes to how some character's cursed techniques mimic that of their personality is impressive and stunning to see play out in fights and synergies with other sorcerers. Gege really was in his bag writing this series and making these character. All in all, this is a great manga with fantastic writing to help ease the tension in certain scenarios, great symbolism when it comes to character archetypes, and just a great history and world building to feel lived in and not something we are breaking ground with as a reader. I love the direction it went from the beginning and don't get me started on the execution of the designs into the anime. This is just a great series for some one who wants to feel sadness.
