Plot: Kanako, a 17-year-old girl, transfers to an all-girls Catholic boarding school. She's a lesbian and allergic to men; as soon as she comes into contact with one, her skin becomes irritated and she begins to have seizures. Her goal is to create her own harem. On her first day, she meets Maria, a first-year girl no one can resist. It doesn't take Kanako long to discover Maria's secret; he's actually a boy, the nephew of the previous principal. Maria threatens Kanako to keep her secret and will bully her in various ways throughout the series, hindering Kanako's achievement of her goal. The series aims to poke fun at ecchi series.

Disclaimer: I'm writing this review as someone who has never read the manga or seen the second season of the anime.
As for the characters, I think Maria is the most successful, even though I think she was given far too little time. She's the character that made me finish the series, along with God, the dorm leader. In fact, the best gags in the series are those involving God and Maria; I think many of the jokes have aged badly, especially Kanako's.
Regarding Kanako, I have mixed feelings... her perversion doesn't bother me, but having her bleed for 12 episodes straight bored me quite a bit. I don't find her a particularly interesting character, and I think she's the least charismatic in the series. I'll be honest: Kanako's character makes you not want to continue the series; the problem isn't the "bad portrayal of a lesbian character" or the exaggerations, but her constant repetition of the same jokes and situations over and over again. I can see the criticism of the ecchi anime world, but it's an idea that should have been developed better in my opinion. I'll give it a point for the religious jokes, lol.
As for the rest of the characters, I would have liked a little more development, especially for Matsurika, who I think could have come up with more interesting gags. The author could have experimented more.
While watching the series, I often had doubts about the characters' gender and sexual identity due to the Italian fan subtitles, lol, so it's possible that many of the jokes were distorted.
I really like the overall style because I really appreciate the aesthetic of old anime. The stained glass windows in particular are crazy; I love them. The anime's strongest point is probably the theme song; it's perfect for describing the series and has stuck in my head. I don't think it's an anime I'd recommend; it's nothing unmissable, but it's not terrible either. Overall, it's enjoyable, but I don't think I could handle a second season. I'll think about it and maybe watch it in the future.
