Had to reupload it and separate it into three separate reviews because of violation of the review guidelines.

My reviews have been summaries lately instead of proper reviews, so I'll try to do it better this time.
This movie was amazing coming from Bakemonogatari. The first minutes were just... wow.
The animation was insane, I'm not a big fan of the whole CGI dynamic in anime, but this was like another vibe. The hand-drawn animations were absolutely gorgeous as well, and it really shows how much effort they put into it since the very beginning.
Talking about the story... well, I didn't understand much at first, but the first interaction between Koyomi and Kiss-Shot Acerola-Orion Heart-Under-Blade was straight up horrific, in a good way. Everyhting about that scene is insane and deranged, seeing a vampire without any of her limbs, crying desperately for help, and Koyomi, as always, offering his life in exchange.
This trilogy also explains perfectly why Koyomi is like that. Always being selfless, trying to protect everyone, even if it means ending his own life in return. I think I can relate to him more than before, but I still think that he should value his own life a little more.
Well, here's when things start to escalate a little. The whole arc with Tsubasa was just... perfectly executed. She's a lovely character, and kinda selfless too, but at least she isn't reaching Koyomi's levels.
Since the very beginning, she just wants to be friends with him, no matter the cost. I think that, in part, that's a good thing. She sees right through him all the time, she knows when he's lying to make her feel better or to protect her, and those kinds of things just end up with her wanting to be closer and closer to him. She should love herself a little more though, being selfless all the time won't do her any good (we know that much based on the Tsubasa Cat arc).
Regardless of that, she's very kind in a good way, and it seems that she likes to tease Koyomi a little, sometimes on purpose, sometimes by mistake.
I didn't resonate a lot with this character in the first movie, mostly because they were introducing her slowly. We know that she's a vampire, and one of the best out there, but we don't really know a lot about her backstory. We just know that, for some weird reason, she decided to turn Koyomi into one of her kin. This means that Koyomi has her regenerative powers and more.
Koyomi being a vampire obviously complicates things with Tsubasa, because he doesn't want to hurt her in the slightest, so he tries to make her go away by hurting her feelings and deleting her contact from his phone. In my opinion, that was just dumb. Even though I understand his feelings, he could've just been honest with her instead of trying to hurt her to make her go away, but well, I think that just explains a little more about how Koyomi is not really well with human relationships.
Continuing with Kiss-Shot, she's a great character surrounded by mystery at first. Like, why was she all alone without her limbs in a subway station? Well, we learn that pretty early on. That's because of the three vampire hunters that, together, made a plan to kill her once and for all.

Kiss-Shot explains that every one of them has one of her limbs, and that she needs to recover them to regain her original form.

Obviously, in the state she is right now, she can't fight them. She practically has no power, so her only choice for now is sending Koyomi over to fight in her stead.
Koyomi obviously agrees, it's not like he has any other choice at the moment, and it's also his only choice if he wants to return to being a human ever again.
After that, he gets surrounded by the three vampire hunters that were going to kill him mercilessly, until a familiar face appears...
He saves Koyomi from the vampire hunters at the very last moment, bringing him to his place. Then, Koyomi finds Kiss-Shot, safe and sound.
But that's when questions start to arise. Why's Meme helping them? What's his goal? Meme explains that everything he wants to do is to keep the balance between humanity and the oddities (怪異). In this case, Koyomi being surrounded by three vampire hunters didn't seem fair, so he works on a plan to make Koyomi defeat each and every one of the hunters fairly to recover Kiss-Shot's limbs.
Meme's character is pretty intriguing in the first movie, because even though he explains the reasoning behind his sense of balance it still feels a little weird or out of place.
