First a brief summary: our MC, Satoru Mikami, as known as Rimuru, got stabbed by a thug and resurrected in another world as a slime with incredible powers and an inner assistant who helps him to understand what's happening and allow a sort of auto-attack fight mode.
Let's start looking closely to the settings and the plot.
PLOT: 4/10
As you can see, the plot is pretty generic, the author hasn't even found a good death to isekaify MC: it's been just a mere person running with a knife (without apparent reasons since nobody was following him) that casually killed him... Probably the writer's kindergarten's teacher always scolded him for running with his safety scissors.
Anyway, while MC was dying, he started to regret his way of living and every sentence said is listened by what will become his inner assistant.
This undefinite being grants him OP abilities: who's they? Why's helping him? We just don't know.
Whatever the reason, he reborns in a new fantasy world where steampunk and medioeval settings coexist, starts collecting ~~girls for his harem~~ resources, leveling up and doing thing out of boredom.
Rimuru just leaves himself flow with the current of events, he has no objective, he just wants to entertain himself while helping others.
After some generic interactions, he fights wolves and founds a village. After a while, he defeats an army of 200.000 orcs and hires them to build an even bigger city in his territory, the Jura Forest.
With the blessing of driads, who care and should defend the woodland, Rimuru's little town becomes a Capital. But now let's see some plotholes:
CHARACTERS: 4/10
here's the tipical meeting between Rimuru and others:
Person: "Oh, a stupid slime is blocking my path, prepare to die!"
Rimuru farts at their general direction
Person: "Please accept my oath, Rimuru-sama!"
Really, they're all so generic: there's the quiet edgy ninja, the arrogant prince felt in disgrace, the little princess in distress, 2 goofy side-character meant to be laught at (Gabil and Gobta), the super buffed, prideful ruler that all he does in order to make alliances which will define the future of his kingdom is brawls, a wise but weak ruler, and then... you know...
F A N S E R V I C E
I mean, tons and tons of fan service. I'm not against it, but damn, there're characters who would be easily fogotten if they didn't have great Oppais (Shion). All this takes me to give a low vote to the characterization.
ARTS AND EFFECTS: 6.5/10
average effects, there's some lame cgi (Orcs army was almost like the Goblin Army from Overlord 3), but overall is acceptable. at least Oppais are always bouncing and clothes' movement are well animated.
MUSIC and OST: 6.5/10
nothing incredible, the op are discrete, and the there're some (ripetitive) ost that just works.
OVERALL: 4.5/10
Is your time worthless? Even if that case, I don't suggest to spend time watching this anime.
