School Days was an unexpected jab into my normal anime "routine". I won't write much, 'cause this anime is too much to even talk about. 2200 characters is really too much. And don't expect for IMDb™-level analysis - I'm just a ? regular, everyday, normal ? - you know.
My girlfriend wanted to watch it with me, because it looked cute and romantic, and would be a nice way to spend the evening. Oh boy...
And now, for the ingredients.
Setting, visuals, etc. - 7/10: school, mostly. Has that "older" look and drawing style, grey-ish palette. Really liked that, was really refreshing. Has a striking contrast with
Characters - 9/10: you love/feel for them all, except for one - the one who sets the emotional bar for this title. All the characters are unique and special, no one feels bland.
Audio/soundtrack - 8/10: to be honest, I had to look it up after watching. I was too invested into the happenings while watching to be able to pay attention to any sort of soundtrack. But it's really good. It contributed to the atmosphere from the beginning to the end - no matter to what kind of atmosphere.
Plot - ?: you know... No plot examination from me. It can't be judged by itself - it revolves around the choices and actions the characters make, and how you feel about them. Basically:
Summary: AAAAAH!!!. Just a tip: watch it. And let it do whatever it wants to do to you. You'll love/hate it, probably. It was a new experience to me. And I'd never want to rewatch it again. Only if I ever want to have different emotions from it - probably not anything too shiny and happy.

One of these faces is the face of pure evil. The other just wanted to be loved.
