The Truth About That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime ( No Spoilers )

As I sit back and read a lot of the reviews that this Anime has been given, I can't help but laugh.
A lot of people are saying they didn’t like it and how it became too repetitive and too predictable.
I strongly disagree, but it’s honestly just a difference in opinon and a different outlook.

That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime Is An Isekai, I feel like at this point we should all know what to expect from an Isekai. For the people that say It Is repetitive and predictable they are absolutely right, but it does it in a way that is both refreshing and laughable in a good way. Even though you know what’s going to happen, its still exciting to watch it play out because of how attached the characters become to you.

CHARACTERS

The Characters are so interesting and all have cool designs, it’ll have you rooting for them just as much as the Main Character. Especially as the story progresses and they inhance their powers or level up. Each Character has special abilities some more than others and they’re all strong which in time makes you realize just how OP the MC is. The Main Character who’s name is a spoiler within itself, Is a 37 yr old who well you know is Reincarnated As A Slime. He’s very likable and and adds to the humorous side of the show as he often says what we the audience are thinking.

WHY WATCH

When I first started watching Slime I had just finished watching Assassination Classroom. So I was sad from not having any of those Episodes left to watch cause that Anime was so funny and heartwarming. Slime truly filled that void with some of the same type of humor and a similar Protagonist. I knew from the first Episode that it was going to be one of my favorites and it truly became my favorite in everyone’s favorite Episode. The Epsiode that I think we all cried , smiled and laughed through. The story building they set up and the unique characters with great character designs will leave you in awe.

HALFWAY-POINT DROPOFF

There is definitely a shift after the Halfway point of the Season and that’s where most people lost interest, but the way I see it ends the repetitive nature of the show. The Main Character suddenly doesn’t seem so invincible anymore as we learn that there are Characters and forces much more powerful than he is. In Episodes past we’ll knew what was going to happen, after the halfway point all of that stops as the story starts building towards the next Season.

SEASON 2

I’m so happy it’s getting a Season 2. It has so many cool and unique characters that I can’t wait to learn more about. I haven’t read the manga but towards the end of the Season you can tell the last few Episodes are setting up something big for S2. Rimuru has become my favorite Anime character All-Time which is astonishing considering whose on my list. If you haven’t watched Slime yet, I advise you to start ASAP. I promise you won’t regret it.
