[(SPOILER AHEAD) STORY:]()
Noragami focuses on our boy Yato. A deity with no shrine. He vandalises many places with graffitti of his phone number so that people may call him and ask for some help, in exchange for 5 yen (or £0.038). After losing his one and only Shinki "Tomone" he gets left unable to fend for himself.
After a while of vigirous work he saves a girl who chased after him. Sadly she then became a hanyou, a person who has "out-of-body experiences" quite easily, this allows her to see and interact with the Gods and Spirits. She wants her old ways back and keeps asking Yato for help, they become best buds in no time. Roughly at the same time Yato finds a good spirit which he turns into his new Shinki named "Yukine".
Hey thats great Yato got a Shinki and he can now find evil spirits, right?
Well yes, but actually no. Yukine is a teen, this lets him prone to much more extreme emotions. He goes through a phase of rebelion due to the fact that he can't have real friends anymore. This is an important part of the story since it draws all of the characters together and we as a viewer get a much better idea of who they are and we get to get attached to them better as well.
After blighting Yato to the verge of Death, Yukine gets all of the evil repelled, allowing us to move on to the next major point of the story.
The last fight.
Hiyori loses her memory of Yato and Yukine, this upsets both of them. Which inturn shows us just how much they care for her. Hiyori also feels as if something is wrong but just can't remember. Again, further proving their bond.

[CHARACTERS:]()
Now for the characters.
Yato - As I mentioned, Yato is a minor god. He doesn't have a shrine but wants one so he does any work for 5 yen. He knows how to develop deep bonds with people which he demonstrated with Kofuku (another god, bigger than Yato), Yukine, and Hiyori. Yato's character is quite laid back, he likes goofing around a lot. Though when necessary he gets serious. The fact that he is voiced by Hiroshi Kamiya just adds that much more to him.
Hiyori - The girl who got saved by Yato and now has to deal with her soul leaving her body at random. At first she just wanted Yato to fix that but as time went on she developed quite a bond with Yato. Her character is much more caring and "normal". She's just a junior high school student who is obsessed with martial arts.
Yukine - The angst himself. In the first Season Yukine is quite a brat, to say the least, he doesn't listen and just causes havoc. He does manage to learn his lesson when he nearly killed Yato by blighting him.
Yes, there are many other characters present in Noragami but they have a bigger role in Season 2. So I won't be talking about them now.

[ART/ANIMATION:]()
Noragami has splendin art style. Its eye catching and interesting. The Animation is good as well. The fights are really enjoyable to watch. Yato's sporadic movements get captured so well. The eyes are quite a cool thing as well. Most of the characters have neon coloured eyes which really stand out especially in dark scenes. I just love things like that.

[MUSIC:]()
Noragami has a good OST. The fighting music is amazing and really makes hyped for the fight that is about to unveil.
The OP is the best part, they get me so pumped up for the show. To be honest both seasons have amazing OPs.
The EDs are much more calmer, they are also good don't get me wrong. But compared to OPs oh lawd.
[OVERALL OPINION:]()
Noragami is a very interesting show. Altought Season 1 is quite slow it still managed to deliver on the characters.
Honestly the characters have to be my favourite part of the whole series. Season 2 is more plot driven which is always nice to see.
