DanMachi Review - By Aquack
DanMachi from afar may be perceived as another SAO/typical game world remake and although in some ways it is, it also has a remarkable charm to it that makes it somewhat enjoyable despite it being very cliche.
Story 6/10: The story is both well-written and enjoyable. It is easy to follow, wholesome and has clear goals of what the main character wants to achieve and why he is doing it. Overall it is above average and keeps the audience engaged will remaining interesting and aims to keep viewers attentive.
Characters 7/10: The characters are good all together, each character is represented differently with a different personality and look to each of them. The character designs could be passed off as basic but are actually deeper than that. The designs are cute and there is a wide range of vibrant characters for the audience to enjoy and interact with.
Animation 7/10: The animation (produced by JC Staff) is done very well, from entertaining action scenes to lighthearted, wholesome moments the animation stays strong throughout the anime without many faults.
Music 8/10: The music in DanMachi is good in all aspects, it is pleasant and enjoyable to listen to. It ranges from indulging action music to its calm and relaxing fantasy soundtrack were both have no flaws and really goes well with the Anime. The music choice for the fight scenes where well thought out as they go together. Overall the whole soundtrack is definitely one that I would go back and listen to.
