Oreshura Is depicted as a slice of anime with the occasional harem elements incorporated into is 12-episode season. It is based on the ongoing light novel Ore no Kanojo to Osananajimi ga Shuraba Sugiru created by Kanta Kamei. The anime starts normal enough until you reach the latter part of the first episode, and then you realize it is one of those…
What it does Right:

What it does wrong:
Characters:
Eita Kiduo;
The MC of this crazy ride a recovering chunibyo with the noble dream of one becoming a doctor. What can I say about him other than he is one crazy SOB being able to keep the facade of keeping a fake relationship. Be warn he is a generic as they come specially in the Rom com department because the best way to describe him is an oblivious character that cannot see the clues right Infront of him.Masuzu Natsukawa:
The fake girlfriend if you ever seen Nisekoi she is very relatable to Chitoge. The only difference is that she is not a tsundere, and in her words she is an ice-cold bitch. Which she lives up to that statement until you realize just like in previously mention series she grows feeling towards the main character in a somewhat different way.Chiwa Harusaki:
The childhood friend if Eita that is self-conscious of her size both in height and in other areas if you know what I mean. (I promise I was not looking) Following the trope because a girl is after her mans, she need to saddle up and finally admit her feeling for Eita.Ai Fuyuumi:
The true childhood friend I know confusing, but it does not stop at that fact she is cashing in that marriage promise from when they were still in kindergarten. Yes, she is the tsundere of the group we all know that we need at least one in the group. cough My favorite of the series.Himeka Akishino:
Let us imagine you were able to reincarnate and you were able to keep your old memories that best describe this heroine. She suffers from chinibyo and this makes her believe that my boy Eita was her past lover in an alternate timeline, but she remembers him from the past live and time to continue where they left off.
My thoughts/conclusion:
As you know the golden anime rule you must watch at least 3 episodes of an anime before you drop it, and the first few minutes did not have me convince at the end. What kept me was the subtle moments of elegant art style, the characters growth in the series, and ultimately Natsukawa herself.
Hold your pitchforks a main lead heroine is the reason I watch the series? Why? Because she keeps us entertain which is a must in any romcom. She may act like a straight up in her words a bitch, but she sees subtle moments of when she exposes her vulnerable side, and do not get me wrong these are few, but they are heart warming. At the end there is a clear winner, but at the same time it is ambiguous that the only way is to read the light novel. But, from what I have research the adaption was done right and did not deviate much from the light noble a lot.
Overall, this gets 7-page muda out of 10.
