Fruit of Grisaia:
Fruit of Grisaia is one of that anime that starts slow, but by the end you realize that you just saw the sunrise because you just saw the whole series.
Fruit of Grisaia is based on the Japanese Visual Noble developed by Front Wing studio that was released February 25, 2011. It has two sequels: The labaryth of Grisaia, and The Eden of Grisaia. Also has an adaption in a 13-episode anime which this review is based on.
What it does Right:
• Great story telling
• Interesting characters
• Great Protagonist
What it does wrong:
• Sexualize moments that have no purpose in the story. (no complaints thought)
• Has a rushed demeanor
• Slow Start
Best way to describe him is the Japanese version of 007, but instead goes by number 9029. He wants to experience a normal school life, but instead he gets a harem. At first impression of Yuji he seems blander than a piece of stale carboard, but at the end I see genuine care for the life and his roommate’s friendship he has created in the academy. Take note that we do learn much about him the Ova and season 2 of the series.
Yumiko Sakaki:
Well let us put it like this if you talk bad about her, she will straight cut you with her box cutter. You realize that her rage is well explained and brings light to an Issue that many students must go through in Japan which in summary is legacy.
Michiru Matsushima
A straight up tsundere is what she will like you to believe, but she is only playing the part because she is fascinated by the concept (I mean who is not). The comedic relief of the group, but as many psychologists say the clowns are the most broken people inside. Her past trauma led her to having to very distinct personally which manifest by her eye color changing. Very quirky which makes a favorite to some.
Makira Irisu:
At the beginning she seems more that carefree girl with speech impediments. But, do not judge the book by its covers because she will school you both in the classroom, and take you down with herself defense skills that her papa though her.
Sachi Komine:
Have you ever met someone that takes something that is said too seriously? Well that is Sachi if you tell her to do something, she will do it no matter that means. She is polite, hardworking, and a sense of responsibility that is match by none.
Amane Suou
What a character! what can I say she is looker. She is the big sister to the other girls and has survived a living hell. Of all the girls by far my opinion she is the most distraught out of all of them, and this manifest itself in her attitude to appease Yuji. Which mostly involves seducing him, even if it is a public setting.
One simple word amazing of anime, and highly underrated this is by far one anime that must be watch as soon as possible. I will wait, go on and watch it right now! It has great story telling, the characters are likable, a badass protagonist, and ending that makes you crave more (Yes, there is a season 2). My only issue is the aspect of the fan service moment are placed in unnecessary moments that take away from the seriousness of some scene. The animation is by far one of the more unique one and is stunning and it has some scenes that look that they came out of the visual noble which gives it charming quality.
Like I mention in the beginning this is not an anime if you get easily offended it has controversial topics that may cause uneasiness when watching the anime. This to me was not a negative instead it made the story more approachable, but to some it may cause issues because even I felt uncomfortable at times. The title has a rich meaning throughout the series it is the revealed. The Fruit part is an interpretation that every girl is a fruit in a sense. For example, Amane is a cherry, Michiru a lemon, and the rest I will let you figure out. The other part is explained in the other seasons, and the light noble but to give clarification it is derogative of the word intoxication.

All of this makes me give a commemorative fruit basket out of 10 (9 out of 10)

This all also gets the must watch anime before you die.
