Hello, it's me again. After my dumpster fire and possibly one of the worst and the best review (yes, both, I said it) got caught some attention to some people due to how "sensitive" the matter is - might as well the state of being high. However, I'm afraid this time is gonna be more and more attention as we know that many people either have misinformed or cursed this show due to how many surprises and terrifying moments were here. And merely, it has some good qualities but some people said it's not (well, it's up to you, fellas, as I don't give a fuck) and why? It has the resemblance to any other yuri cliche in a show. The similar premise, trope, plot, ending, characters, and scenes - I lied about the last two but maybe it's also right, yeah, yeah I know what you want to talk about but no.
Citrus shares the diversion compared to another yuri series. It has a sort of surprises, many good characters, especially a pink-haired girl that will do anything for money, no matter what it takes to have it - I only like her, you know. And as the aforementioned stuff has been spoken already, I really want to say an important thing before we move ahead to the review. Firstly, this isn't a show which tells of rape, raping, being raped, or a raper. Really, those people should've understood that the expectation and reality aren't always the same, and this show tells more of the expectation, and will never be a reality, got it? And second, if you really think this show is the worst, that you've ever watched let me tell ya, it's not, it's one of the worst? Maybe, for ya, but me? Well, you can tell from my favourites anime list - write that down, fellows, it's fucking there. And why? Because I enjoy it, of course. People never enjoy the show while thinking of the plot after all - shame, cuz I do it all day lol. Moreover, it's not that bad, I mean, why would you judge a show when you eventually can enjoy and see the bright side of it? At least, it's better than School Days - oh, come on, many people didn't realize that ~~School Days was goddamn great~~ - or the series which usually watch with your hands in the pocket to "fix" something in your brain - yeah, I said it. Nevertheless, it's still good to go if you want to watch it with ~~your family~~ some classmates, if you are a girl, or watch it by yourself like a guy. Seriously, people really can't divide between reality and animation a.k.a 2D - especially if you have pillows or something - as it's clearly different between both of them.
Okay, enough with the rant and I gotta go. See ya.
#Ah, wait, hold on. What did I miss again?
#Ah, yeah. My CITRUS Review.
#Okay, gomen. It looks like I forgot of an important thing already.
#Tadaima, mina. And yes, I'm coming back for ~~you, Yuzucchi~~ this review.
Yes, you got that right. It's the same girl who stole your phone, Yuzucchi. And she will kiss you as well, amazing! As it happens all of a sudden turn in the same route, - okay, that's it, enough. I'mma head out. Maybe Nah - her feelings are torn apart, whether she actually loves or hates her. If she loves her, she isn't her sister, can't be your girlfriend - I mean, does it make sense? - but if you hate her, she is your sister, still, and it'll cause the dilemma for her, Aihara, and of course, ~~the audiences~~ - especially the ones who read this review, got ya - it will take a lot of troubles before she finds the answer.Yup, there, I said it. It's not that bad for being assaulted by a show, isn't it? I really thought so. And the reason why I like this show would just be the pace - I actually enjoy both fast or slow tempo in a show, but there are times when I want to enjoy the fast one. It gains a lot of flow in every scene, takes, or even episode. A lot of unexpected happens will always be there and many people will get overwhelmed by this, but not me, because I really enjoy it that way. Even some people suggest 24 episodes, I don't care, as I really like it as it is. And next, I would talk about the characters. The only one that appears to be dominant is Yuzu Aihara, as she is the main character, however, without proper development, it'd be boring, and they actually did it well for her, but not for the others, they are either spoiled, flawed or just having basic traits it of a Shoujo Ai genre character like Himeko Momokino... okay, I don't want to talk that girl, so I'll skip it to another part. Some characters got their development, but it remains spoiled as the plot itself doesn't have a generic firm structure to develop as well. I've noticed this kind of problem in a sort of shows for a long time. When some characters are basically flawed since the start and it's coupled with some flaws, including the lack of portrayals and some mishaps such as misplaced plots, this would decrease the substance of a show. And without a fantastic character development - for a good example, I will take a look at Zankyou no Terror, a below-average show with a fantastic story development - this will cause the instability of the plot, and will take a lot of mistakes to fix it. And I really think it's the main flaw of this show, no matter if you like a show. When some people can't enjoy it, it also does matter for those who enjoy it, and of course, you can give them reasons why they don't enjoy it but you do as well, as some people merely look at the perspectives and watch the flaws more than the edges. And yes, the discourse of this show is still around the plot. There was none of the explanation, repeat, none of the explanation regarding the scenes, and it makes people keep assuming the scene that they watched as well. And yes, this show is flawed but at least, it has some enjoyable stuff, for me. And next, something has lost when we didn't talk of the features such as music, songs, art style, and all, right? Yeah, and it's those stuff which happens to be another satisfactory for this show. I liked the Opening Song of this show, even I used to sing it when I got bored and wanted to ~~ban someone else out of a discord server~~ burn the tiredness or exert my anger about the stuff in real life. However, I tried to like the ED but I can't - it's too bland, not worthy enough to sing it. And then, I like the art style and the animation, it's one of the reasons why this show still has its quality compared to another series as well. And the quality of the graphic really stuns when Yuzu and Matsuri met at the game central, it's probably one of the quality displays I've ever seen in this show. The voice actors are very good, I really have to praise them for ~~being high~~ having a good role in each character, no matter it's Harumi, Yuzu, or even Nina, they have these quality pitches, well done.
